“Not just a holiday - an inspiration!”

The location was wonderful, and the farm is run with such care. My daughter had worked on the farm for a week as a project from her school and loved it so much she wanted me to visit with her. Luis is a lovely person and very knowledgeable and engaging about the farm and his vision for it.

“Excellent Host and Fresh Garden Breakfast”

Perfect stop on the way to the volcano Irazú. The host was so kind and went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. We loved the farm-to-table breakfast, the eggs, rice, and beans were all fresh from the garden! The dry toilet was an unique experience, and the fireplace was the highlight of our stay—so warm and cozy!

“Beautiful and charming”

This is an amazing place, middle of the wild nature with a beautiful garden around. We spent just one night there before we wert to Volcano Irazú, but we enjoyed it, though it was raining since our arrival to the departure- The 2 separated apartments have everything you need and it's kind of adventure! The roof partly made of glass to watch the sky, the natural toilet in a beautiful bathroom. The host Chicco was very kind and we talked about lots of topics while he was preparing the breakfast for us. The breakfast was FULLY made of there planted stuff- rice, beans, eggs, fruits. We just missed their home made bread and the dinner, as they had a "Christmass brake", but it's understandable. We appreciated the coffee, tea and water in the room. This farm is something extraordenery, suistanable and fully along with the surrounding nature. We saw a fox on the tree from our terrace! There are also sloths, we didn't see one that day. The garden is very private and separated from the other appartment's garden, with a fire place. We didn't use it cause of the rain, but we would have used it otherwise. It it 1600 m above see and we had just 15°C at night, luckily we had enough cloths with us. To Volcano Arenal we needed 45 minutes with car.

Amazing place. From the lovely interior design to the beautiful surrounding, this was our favourite place in Costa Rica. The host (whose name I forgot - I am sorry) was extremely helpful and available before our arrival and during our brief stay. Everything is home grown and self-built and we loved being surrounded by nature and all the different animals. Breakfast was delicious.

The owner is lovely, very interesting and helpful. Passionate about promoting a sustainable lifestyle which reflects in the accommodation equipment and the environment. The place is wonderful, super well maintained very welcoming and pretty. The room was super cosy, very clean as well as the bathroom, the beddings smelt good and the bed was very comfortable. The private terrace and garden with the fire pit were a plus. The view, the silence, the sounds of nature, the flowers, everything was great.

Exceptional place and exceptional host. That was one of our best stays in Costa Rica. The place is simply amazing - it is fully sustainable, really ecologic and cozy. Bungalow was really comfortable. The host guided us thorough the farm, explaining how it actually works. That was really interesting and heartwarming.

The property is incredible, and the host is wonderful. It’s a wonderful way to reconnect with the nature. A lot of animals and plants of any kind. Breakfast was extremely fresh because came directly from the garden. Also the host makes the most incredible beers, and he offered them to us. The place is also very kids friendly and our 3-year-old daughter loved our stay there.
