The staff is great and friendly, the accommodation is also great, the swimming pool definitely needs to be a feature of any stay in Cartagena, as this may be the only escape from the heat. The food (optional) was also great. Great place to meet people and very central to where everything happens. I did consider other hostels, but for some reason this was the option. No regreat.

Location is top, most things in walking distance (pharmacy, supermarket, Getsemaní city). 24h reception with friendly staff. Not the most social hostel (only few activities) but the hostel across the street 1min walking offers good events if interested in socialising and partying (their rooftop is also a hotspot for locals). Breakfast not included 25000 COP and very tasty. Very clean!

- friendly & competent staff, open for any questions in English or Spanish and happy to help out - the rooftop is gorgerous (part of a cafe, not sure if you can hang out there without buying anything) - there are many little sitting areas inside the hostel to chill and escape the heat - the welcome drink was great too - near the front desk you can book activities and wellness treatments directly, which I didn't try - comfortable beds, two pillows - great location, felt safe during the day & early evening (can't comment on other times) - dorm has good A/C - (medium sized) lockers in the dorm

We do not recommend this hotel. The experience started poorly at check-in. Instead of a normal reception process, we were told to complete the check-in ourselves on the Booking website. That meant standing there for about 10 minutes filling out a long form on a phone, uploading passport photos, and repeating the process due to app errors — all while the receptionist simply waited. The room itself was also disappointing. The only window faces the hotel corridor, something that is not clear in the photos. At first the room smells strongly of perfume, but after a few hours the real smell appears: mold. You can clearly see mold spots behind the air conditioning unit and on the walls. There is also no potable drinking water provided in the room. If you stay here on a weekend, forget about sleeping. The music is extremely loud and goes on late into the night. We asked to check out the next day because of these issues, but were told we would still have to pay the full stay. The only “solution” offered was a free breakfast. The rooftop pool is nice. Everything else is not.

We had a nice stay overall. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and we really enjoyed the rooftop and pool. Service was good throughout.

Our room was really nice and the hostel in general was clean and in good condition. Good hot showers. Location was great and not noisy. Rooftop area was nice to sunbathe and swim. Staff were nice and helpful.

location was perfect! Few steps from getsemani artstreets & coffeeshops. Nightmarket close too! Nice rooftop pool, just like pictures! Workers are always smiling & very welcoming.
