Cartagena and Getsemani in particular is a bit crazy. It felt a bit sketchy with homeless people picking through the bins outside and the all night street party that set up in the kiddies playground opposite which only wound down at 5:30 am the following morning didn't allow much sleep, but that said, if you are going to spend a night or two in Getsemani, i suspect this is all part of the experience. The hotel did feel like a safe haven. The staff were thin on the ground but welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was good. We had to wake up the owner(?) at 5:20am to be let out the large front door to do an early morning tour but he seemed OK with being roused. We would reccommend and would use again. No frills but friendly, an excellent location, good value and the aircon was fantastic.

Leo was extremely helpful along with other staff members he certainly looked after us. Position on Av El Pedregal meant it was easy to get around the city.

Clean, comfortable and very well located place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also liked the Jacuzzi on the rooftop with a beautiful view.

The owner and staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly, extremely welcoming. The owner made a packed breakfast for us to take on our early morning flight, which was incredibly nice gesture. The hotel was in a great location with a great view from the roof terrace.

Great location and the people who run the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The lack of warm water in the shower is odd (although not a huge issue given the heat), and it would be nice to be able to use the rooftop until 10pm.

Exceptional location in lively Getsemani but still on a side road that is not as noisy during the night. The staff is super friendly and kind. Very tasty breakfast prepared with care. They let us store our luggage after checking out. Very clean room. Comfy, wide bed. Beautiful patio full of plants, nice rooftop area.

The hotel is in a good location in Getsemani, just a stone's throw away from the life and buzz but on a slightly quieter street so we were able to sleep at night. The staff were kind and friendly and the breakfast each morning was great.

This is a lovely small family run hotel in a fantastic location in Getsemani. They were able to accommodate a double and twin room in our booking (which a lot of places couldn’t) and were very friendly. We didn’t spend long at the hotel but it was all comfortable and cool and they made fresh breakfast for everyone. Would recommend.

Absolutely delightful little hotel ideally placed in Getsemani for exploring locally and the walled city just 5-10 minutes away on foot. Rooms very clean and comfortable & breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit followed by scrambled eggs. The main standout is the owner and the staff, Esperanza, Amy, Alba & Leo. They are simply the kindest and friendliest people you could wish to meet and who can’t do enough for you. Very highly recommended

“Cartegena vibes, good people , classic charm, great location”

The hosts, the employees are so friendly and accommodating they make you feel like the place is your home. The place has a rustic charm. I am vegetarian and they went above and beyond to make delicious breakfasts. The location is fantastic to walk everywhere and it feels very safe. The people at this hotel make it very special . The view on the rooftop is beautiful of the castle and the monastery and so nice to watch all the birds whilst chilling after the heat of the city .

the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming !! the rooftop jacuzzi was really lovely to cool down after a hot day in the city !!! the room was very comfortable and clean!! the included breakfast was tasty and very filling !!!

Terrace Location

The best is the staff and the owner Senor Léo. Breakfast is not a buffet style but enough delicious food prepared on time. Very clean in a key location to visit the old City and Getsemani.

The rooms are small but well organized. Everything is very clean. The staff is very helpful. The lack of hot water is not an issue as the shower water is lukewarm. The location is very good.
