The place is really nice, old house, beatitudes courtyard, very friendly staff. Really great place to stay... unless you have a car.

he standout positives here are the unbeatable location—you can walk to all the main sights in Cartagena—and the super kind host. They were incredibly accommodating and allowed me an early check-in, which was a huge help after my flight. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option with a fantastic host in the perfect spot, but be prepared for some compromises on room comfort and connectivity.

Beautiful place, super friendly and helpful staff, perfect location in a quiet area of Getsemani, yet in short walking distance to all major touristy locations (walled city, Plaza Trinidad, Castillo San Felipe).

Location, comfortable, good facilities

Cozy house in the middle of Getsemani district run by a friendly couple. Close to everything in the old town.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The location was perfect and the ambiance was very good. Although we didn't use it much I liked that there was a kitchen available. I also loved the rooftop terrace.

Cartagena is red hot this time year so it was good to come home to a good aircon. Staff were super friendly and helpful and we had some fun trying to communicate. Location was excellent -close enough to Plaza de Trinidad but far enough away to be quiet.

Perfect location, nice and quiet, but still close enough to walk to the busy area and tourist attractions. Lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Felt very safe walking around that area during the day and at night. Host's are very engaging and happy to help with anything you need. Bed was good, room was big enough, shower was good. Would definitely stay there again. Laundry service was very good, washed and ironed for the next day. The lady waited outside with me, to make sure my taxi turned up on time to leave for the airport, which was lovely.

“Getsemani Gold”

This place is in the perfect location for Getsemani. It is such a short walk to all of the fun and so quiet when you want to return and get a good night sleep. It’s extremely comfortable and really beautiful in its colonial design. Lovely hosts and although we didn’t speak the same language, we got by easily. We also appreciated the opportunity to get some washing done. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Everything was exceptional. I have stayed in many nice places in Carta/Getsamani and Casa Digna the best on every measure. Staff is incredible. My new "stay" accommodation in city.

The host, the balcony, and the location. While the property is extremely expensive, this is pretty much in line with Cartagena’s bloated prices. The property is a fine place.

A relaxed ‘Homestay’ feel with lovely hosts. I’m a quiet street but near to everything. Super comfortable beds in rooms opening onto a courtyard. Great common spaces and nice terrace. Top place to stay!

We are a couple in the mid-fifty being on road traveling for over 5 yrs and booked "Casa Dinia" for 4 nights end Nov23. It's a perfect quiet location in the old town of Getsemani (it can be a bit noisy during the day on weekends) Wonderful courtyard that invites you to chill out Well-equipped kitchen (and fritgd) for shared use Everything is clean and extremely well maintained A nice terrace with a view over the roofs - especially recommended in the evening The rooms are spacious enough, there is a lot of storage space and the beds are large and comfortable. The WiFi is good and the other technical systems (AC/fan etc) also worked perfectly The service and support of Doña Gloria and Señor Ulisses are exceptional and very caring, they give this place the hospitality that we greatly appreciate We would be happy to come back - and would also recommend this accommodation to other travelers who are looking for this kind of qualities!
