For the price, you get a nice hotel with a very spacious room. It’s outside of the center but you can walk to Getsemani easily , and then go back to rest quietly at the hotel. High level facilities for the price.

The owner Maayke y one fo the nicest persons around. she was always available for everything we needed, her boyfriend Ray picked us up at the airport and once we got to the house he gave us the car keys. In Aruba you really need a car to move around confortably and driving is really easy. The house in very confortable located in the southern part of the island about 15 mins driving fron downtown, it has everything you need to cook and do laundry and plenty of towels, it also has beach equipment such as chairs, snorkeling gear and a cooler. The best beaches are Baby beach and Eagle beach and close to the house you can find plenty of small supermarkets and some places to eat out. The best part was that on the last day we had a 5 hour flight delay and Maayke allowed to stay at no extra cost until it was time to go to the airpot. She made us feel like family and I can not thank her enough for that kind gesture . We will surely return. Masha Danki my frieds. This is one of the best options in Aruba for confort and price plus the host y second to none.

I booked this hotel for one night, to accommodate some guests in my apartment, which is located in the same block. I checked in late at night, in a decent room which unfortunately had no running water. On my way to the reception, I could clearly hear that the occupant of the next room having a shower. The receptionist sent someone to check my room but the problem was not fixed. So I visited the reception once more to ask for a refund and at this point, the receptionist informed me that the hotel follows a "No Refund" policy and that I had no running water because this is a city-wide issue with Cartagena. This was infuriating, as if that were true, they would have told me right away and I wouldn't have perfectly running water in my apartment. To make things worse the more lies they told me and they could see that I knew the truth the more attitude they were giving me. It's quite funny how the person working the morning shift asked me twice to send the video to the management's WhatsApp number so that someone fixes the problem. In the end, I went to my apartment to have a shower but I would like some protection from Booking.com in instances like this.

Very good neighbourhood connection, there is a small market nearby, friendly staff.

The location was good, a short walk to local areas and attractions or a cheap uber ride. The room was spacious but had very few amenities such as a hair dryer. The location itself was nice with good views and areas such as the rooftop terrace.

“Rude staff and storage fee after checkout”

The stuff was rude and unhelpful, during checkout he ignored us and even started to attend an other guest who was also leaving... We needed them to open our room since one of us was inside sleeping and previously they ensured us that it wont be any problem, yet we had to ask them 3 times till they came to help. The light in the room was flickering, no ventilation in the bathroom, therefore it was always damp. The worst part that they charged like 4 euros to store the bags after checkout.

“Good location, too expensive for what it has”

Location is top. Place was very clean. Service and employees very polite, friendly. Hotel Manager (or owner?) Was very friendly always asking me about my day. There is a Jacuzzi in the top. I like the place situation, juat 15minutes walking to the center. Very easy to take drivers from there. Internet speed was good. AC available. They have a vending machine with water (6000 pesos unit) and Bier (5000 pesos unit), which I find very convenient. Employees helped me anytime when I have questions. Bed was vey comfortable and pillows as well. Quite to sleep there.

Photos posted online did not reflect the actual room, there were lots of black hair around from previous guests, the check-in process was such a hassle. They asked us to pay deposit and send confirmation to some WPS account which we have no idea what that is and cancelled our initial booking. At the arrival we were asked to pay 5% fee on top that was not mentioned upgront. We were woken up at 6am by pool guy cleaning the pool with very loud music right by our window. Staff were not friendly and asked to fill out the same questionnaire we already filled out online.
