“Quiet flat near the beach”

The flat is at walking distance from the beach and 15 minutes from the town centre. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The flat is very well equipped and has a big terrace.

It took a while to find the owner Didier. You are wise to make a clear appointment with him at the parking lot in front of the complex. We found Didier after 20 minutes of searching with the help of helpful residents. Didier is very nice, only speaks French. Then you drive to the apartment complex by car through a remote-controlled sliding door. If there is oncoming traffic, one of the 2 has to drive back or into a side road. The car can be parked in a somewhat narrow parking box. If there is a car in front of this parking box, it is difficult to drive out. Via 2 stairs, one of which is a spiral staircase, you enter the apartment, this can be difficult with heavy suitcases. The apartment is 4 meters wide and 8 meters deep. Turning your butt with 2 people is difficult in the apartment. The terrace is 4 by 4 meters and quite large. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of apartment blocks and on the side there is a busy road that makes a pleasant noise. You also have neighbors on the left, right, above who are having nice conversations. The apartment has a folding bed, which creaks wonderfully and at night you have the light of the microwave. You sleep well in the kitchen with all the kitchen sounds. Earplugs can be useful. The kitchen was equipped with all the inconveniences. No sharp knife to be found, no dustpan and broom, no detergent. There is an extension cord to charge your phone. It is a 3-minute walk to a tiny beach. Better to go further to the beach, but then you need a car. It is about a 12-minute walk to the village for bread, supermarket, restaurants. The owner Didier is very nice and that is why he gets 10 points from us, but sorry Didier, next time we will look for something else.

The apartment has everything needed and is perfectly located, only 3min walk to the beautiful Calanque du Cap Rousset, very calm and yet easy to access restaurants, supermarket, train station etc. I loved that there was even a snorkel equipment available - very much worth it! I absolutely loved it and Didier was very nice and friendly. It's a Studio and not huge of course - I was by myself, but I believe it is good for 2 people. Highly recommend!
