Set in a former monastery in Carrion de los Condes, the hotel is located near to the Santiago pilgrimage route. Rooms in Hotel Real Monasterio de San Zoilo look onto the beautiful gardens. Just an amazing place to stay. The museum, cloisters and church are spectacular. The restaurant was fabulous, as was the food. If you want a real treat in an amazing place. The location is excellent, right on the Camino !!

“Another visit to the monastery hotel”
We stayed here last year as it's ideally located for our drive north to Santander. Lovely hotel in a former monastery building. Rooms are very comfortable with additional seating area. Large free open air car park. Entrance to the former monastery (which is now a museum) is free if you are a guest at the hotel. Lovely restaurant with a wide ranging menu. Breakfast is self service and set out in a separate building to the front of the hotel entrance and the choices are adequate.

“A total gem!”
The whole place was extremely peaceful, and totally relaxing. A visit, however short, to the convent was worth it, and the restaurant was also wonderful. This place is a gem.
