Overview
Set in an ancient stone-walled agriculture estate 3 km from Carpignano Salentino, Masseria Saittole offers a seasonal pool and garden. Homemade and organic produce is served for breakfast while rooms feature original stone details. Rooms at Saittole Masseria includes rustic furniture, wrought-iron beds together with air conditioning. All come with a LED TV, fridge and bathroom with shower while some have a fireplace. A sweet and savoury breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room and features handmade cakes and fruit from organic farming. In fine weather the breakfast is provided in the garden.The farm house also produces olive oil from its own olive groves. Parking spaces are free of charge and guests also enjoy free use of the salt-water pool surrounded by a sun terrace with tables and chairs. The property is 3 km from Martano, whose village centre has restaurants serving Puglia cuisine, supermarkets and ATM machine.

We spent a wonderful fornight at the masseria of Federica and Fausto. The welcoming is immediately great! The rooms are authentic, nice and very clean each day. Breakfast is different every day, with local pastecceria, delicious fruits from the masseria…. The swimming pool is very pleasant whether you want to swim, just lie down in a chair or have a drink. The surrounds are calm and nice. Federica and Fausto helped us for the choice of excellent restaurants close to the masseria (Martano city is only a few kilometers away) and are ready to answer to every question. The masseria is well placed to go to the sea, Lecce or smaller but as nice cities such as Otranto and Gallipoli. Thank you again for everything!

“Nice countryside experience”
Friendly hosts, nice pool and spacious room.There is also the option to wash clothes by hand, outside in the garden. Nearby there are several villages to go for restaurants. Great location to visit Lecce and close to the beach. Breakfast is Italian, mostly sweet things but has some new varieties everyday.
