I simply felt like home, so comfy and clean. I slept perfectly well since the first day due to the peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by gardens and trees. The room was really spacious, with services similar to a hotel. The owners thought on every single detail and the space is equipped with all you may need. The breakfast was very generous and fresh, personally loved the coffee and daily bread. The hosts are very attentive to your needs and respectful of your privacy. The place is very well located and the bus stop is just some steps away. The bus lines that take you to all the points of interest (lines 5 and 308) stops by right in front over the main street. I am very happy to have chosen this place to stay, it definitely made my travel perfect.

Tatiana was brilliant. Very welcoming, spelt out the pro's and con's of an old, historic house being renovated, so we knew absolutely what to expect. Very clean and comfortable with a superb, simple but ample breakfast with fresh baguette and lush "pains aux raisins " our favourite French breakfast item.

Tatiana our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Everything was well explained before we arrived and we knew exactly what to expect. It was extremely hot on the night of our stay and they went out and got a fan to ensure we were comfortable. Full marks for care and consideration. Comfortable beds too.

Excellent, our stay was made all the more positive by the efforts of Tatiana and Edward, who were exceptional hosts and made us most welcome. The accommodation was comfortable, if somewhat cramped and the breakfast was lovely. The issue of the stairs (many of them) was resolved, as we must take responsibilty for the error. Communication was excellent as was the level service. The Manoir and its surroundings were lovely and gave a genuine “French” feel to our stay. Thank you both for all your efforts on our behalf. Tatiana is a very friendly host that does her utmost best to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast was good. The manoir is beautiful and authentic and Carolles is a charming town. You can make a walk from the manoir to the beach that is absolutely beautiful. A good base to explore lower Normandy.

it is a bit unfriendly. but the room was fine. the shower very hard to fit in. one understands they try to make the best of their home to make some money. so I can be indulgent as the location was good for the sea side

The woman running the place is very nice. It's located in an old cute house. The room was very nice.
