“Excellent chambre d’hote close to Cherbourg”

Very pleasant property in rural location with excellent parking.

Warm, friendly welcome. Access to kitchen so we could have a picnic dinner. Family suite was great - two adjoining rooms separated by a curtain.

We feel we found an absolute gem and will book again. Room immaculately clean, beautiful white bed linen and bathroom linen, great shower and a very comfortable bed - we’d been in France a month and it was the most comfortable bed we’d had by far. The room had everything we needed and more. Really good breakfast - lovely coffee! - with the most pleasant of staff plus a welcome for our very young dog. Very secure parking and a lovely setting. Three restaurants within less than five minutes drive and only ten minutes from the ferry port.

A comfortable place to stay near to Cherbourg. Lovely rooms, pleasant helpful hosts and good breakfasts all of which were appreciated. Our host recommended La Maison Rouge for our evening meal- an excellent venue.

Comfortable bed, hot shower, huge tasty continental breakfast with homemade jams. Good distance from Cherbourg for the ferry. Lovely hosts. Place to eat in nearby Fernanville. Will remember if back this way.

The breakfast was excellent. A friendly welcome and comfortable rooms. We will have no hesitation about booking again.

Great breakfast. A lot of choice. Fresh and home made ingredients. Attentive service.. Large room (family room but we were only 2), well equipped. Being English, could have done with some milk on tea tray but impossible to cater for every tiny wish list so not a criticism. This property was super smart, comfortable with quality fittings and set in beautiful surroundings with a distant view of the sea. The tea and coffee making facilities and the lovely garden were much appreciated. Breakfast was self service, again top quality and there was a great choice.

Excellent breakfast! Bread, pastries, eggs, cheese and ham. Fresh fruit, yoghurts. good coffee and a kettle and toaster at our disposal. Lovely location with pretty gardens and seating

Amazing venue. The owner is so kind. I stayed there for a night with my dad. The room was lovely with a lot of space and very clean. Had a fantastic breakfast with baguette and home made jams!! Merci infiniment!!

Great location, excellent facilities. Superb hostess and staff. Managed to magically come up with an evening meal for us even though we had not booked it in advance. Breakfast was also great.
