“Absolutely fantastic!”
Cora is an amazing host and was so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. She gave us some restaurant recommendations for lunch (Caris in Carmona serves delicious food) and then cooked us supper in the evening. It was a wonderful stay in her beautiful home with a spectacular garden and small coffee farm. The bedrooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a feast and included Cora’s own lovely coffee to drink.It was very interesting learning about life in Costa Rica. Cora was also very patient allowing us to practice our Spanish - we learned more Spanish in one night than 2 years agora of Duolingo!

It’s a very authentic experience seeing a real house talking to local people, enjoying their warm hospitality. I would highly recommend to anyone who is curious about local culture. I came with my husband and six years old son

“A very enjoyable stay”
Cora is a fantastic hostess; very helpful and welcoming. She helped us arrange a tour with a local guide and gave us much information about the local area, traditions, family life etc. A very enjoyable stay. The village nearby, Carmona, is within walking distance (about 1 mile) and it was interesting to explore a small countryside Costa Rican town far from the tourist hot spots.

“An authentic Costa Rican home.”
The host kindly made us an amazing authentic Costa Rican breakfast and bravely held engaging conversations with us even though we didn't speak Spanish fluently. She showed us her farm and explained Costa Rican culture to us. It was our first night and morning in Costa Rica and it felt more authentic than any where else that we stayed.

“A perfect homestay!”
This is the best example of a homestay! Cora opened her home for us, two tired parents with young children - and after travelling Costa Rica for a month, she took such good care of us and stepped in as grandmother for a moment. Her granddaughters also were so sweet and played with our sons. Cora makes the best breakfast we have ever had (!) but also made delicious dinner one night and went with us to the beach one day. The house is beautiful and the garden as well. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Cora Bed and Breakfast. The place is set in a lovely garden with the jungle in the background. The hostess was very caring and we had interesting conversations about life in Costa Rica. A lovely breakfast was served in the morning.

Cora ist such a nice person. I definitely can recommend her cooking skills and she has got fresh fruits from her own farm
