Beautiful rooms and gardens! So well kept with lots of secret seating areas hidden among the bushes and trees.

Gorgeous pool and gardens and we had a whole apartment to ourselves. Gustavo couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming - he was the perfect host. Highly recommend!

“Perfect stay in Carmelo!”

Everything! It is a lovely house, with a pool and a beautiful garden. We stayed in the studio, in the garden. Very close to the river, where you can enjoy the sunset. Gustavo, the owner, is the perfect host, very helpful and friendly. He also gave us a lift to the bus station. The only regret is that we spend only 3 nights🙂. Highly recommended!

“Lovely and quiet hotel close to the beach”

It’s a beautiful complex with bungalows arranged around a spacious garden, which gives a lot of privacy. The bungalows have everything you need: spacious bathroom and bedroom with a place to store stuff, mini kitchen (not made for cooking but with a fridge and water kettle) and a terrace. The location is very close to the beach but still walkable distance from town and it was very quiet at night! Gustavo has been an amazing host, always available for questions, he sent me recommendations on restaurants and wineries and even drove me to the bus and to one of the wineries with a bike on the pickup so that I could cycle back. I would definitely stay again!

“Beautiful pool and gardens”

The gardens and pool were well kept and beautiful. It was 35c, so we made good use of the pool area, which was up a full flight of outdoor, tile stairs from our suite off the driveway.There were suites in this upper area as well. A delcious breakfast was also served there in a nice breakfast room. We had fresh coffee and juice, yogurt, fruit, a boiled egg, toast, jam, and homemade coffee cake. It was a very nice way to start the day. The very small kitchenette did not include a stove top, but it had a full size.fridge and a microwave. The dishes and glasses were nice. We did not cook. Gustavo was friendly and welcoming. Even with the language barrier, we managed to communicate. The 2 bedroom suite also had 2 single beds in the living room so it could sleep a big family.

Fantastic apartment in a tranquil and comfortable setting. The hospitality and helpfulness of the host was amazing. We wish we had booked to stay longer.

“Comfortable stay in a friendly and beautiful location”

We loved the peaceful space, the breakfast offered and nice big pool and garden. It is also well located – just a few minutes for the beach and beach bars, about 15 mins walk into the centre of town. Most of all, Gustavo was a very friendly, kind and excellent host who made us feel right at home.

Our host was amazing and always helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, a little rustic, furnished in a retro/antique decor. It was clean and comfortable, had a small kitchen, and was air-conditioned. The temperature was in the mid-30s, and the pool was nice to have. Breakfast was very good. We used the provided bikes to enjoy a day at local wineries.

“Beautiful place with an incredible host”

We stayed in the deluxe family suit, which was indeed deluxe! The surrounding pool and gardens are beautiful, and the beach and town are a short walk away. Gustavo, the host, was exceptional. He was organised, accommodating, and very friendly. He went above and beyond and drove us to a bodega (which was fabulous), and showed us the town and surrounding area on the way. Our stay at Mykonos was a highlight of our trip to Uruguay and we would certainly stay here if/when we're back. ¡Muchas gracias Gustavo!

Great host, Gustavo dropped me at the bus stop after my stay. Beautiful garden, really nice room and a great shower. They had bikes for riding to the bodegas, which was the perfect way to get around.

Close to the beach, the pool and garden is very nice and invites to stay.

The garden is very nice and the comunal kitchen very handy. We stayed a lot of time on the property. The rooms are well equiped and beautiful. It isclose to the riverfront and the ferry. The owner is very nice and gave us good tips. We could even leave our car for two days when we went to Tigre.
