The Clarion Collection hotel is situated in Carmel by the Sea. Carmel Beach, Pebble Beach, Cannery Row restaurants, shops and historical sites, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and whale watching and fishing at Old Fisherman's Wharf on Monterey Harbor are all nearby. Each morning, guests will enjoy a free continental breakfast basket delivered to their room. Other amenities provided include free local calls and free parking. “Great stay in Carmel.”
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of all that Carmel has to offer. The rooms are of a good size. Really comfy bed. We booked a king suite so we had a little kitchenette which was handy. Each morning the hotel delivers a breakfast basket to the room which is a nice touch. It’s simple but does the job with cereal, yoghurt, pastries, granola bar and fruit. Saves having to go out and search for breakfast. We also had a balcony but there is also communal outdoor space on a terrace which is nice to sit in the sunshine. In comparison to other hotels in Carmel, the Carmel Oaks offers good rooms for a much lower price point.

“Small beautiful hotel in a small beautiful town”
the location was great, both when it came to shopping (food and other things) or restaurants. you have to walk a bit to the beach, but it's not a problem, it's just uphill backwards. The Carmel Plaza with stores and restaurants is a good 5-minute walk away. The hotel is simple and clean, we just had queen size beds, there wasn't too much space in the bed. The breakfast basket is ok if you only need a little in the morning. The free parking in the courtyard is very practical. All in all a great hotel.

The place is cute and quiet, with ample parking. The bed is comfortable and staff is friendly. Breakfast was delivered to our room which is very convenient. The place is centrally located and just a walking distance to stores, galleries and restaurants.
