The location was excellent - very close to the center of town and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The property itself was charming and cozy, with a lovely cottage-style atmosphere. The room was clean and the breakfast was good for a simple morning start.

Location was fab and stay was comfortable

Our stay here has been a highlight of our travels. The inn is so cosy and decorated beautifully. Breakfast in particular was a highlight - there were vases of fresh flowers set up, homemade cakes, and we were served fresh frittata made by the owners that morning! Amazing hospitality and a very peaceful vibe.

Breakfast was great! The room was clean and spacious. The fireplace was a great touch. Location was 10/10 - walkable to downtown, close to Monterey, right by 17 mile drive, easy access off of Highway 1. The staff was so friendly and helpful and truly made our stay in Carmel so memorable.

The room is super cozy and the fireplace is very romantic. The hotel is also walking distance to many restaurants, boutiques, and the beach.

The room was lovely and quiet and had a gorgeous courtyard . The staff were all lovely and friendly. Location is good, just a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. Free parking outside was a great bonus.

Within walking distance of the city center and the beach. Our room was situated right at the street and one could hear everything - but that was no problem, since the neighborhood was very quiet). Room was very small, but cosy. Breakfast was good. Receptionist we met upon arrival seemed in a hurry to go home and a bit curt, but the lady who took care of the breakfast was very friendly. A good budget accommodation for a night in Carmel.

Great Location and staff. Complimentary breakfast with fresh local basic items (bread, juice, coffee, etc.) and hot frittata. Charming cottage and garden. The room is very clean. The rooms have real wooden fireplace which are easy to use. Good for a chill, lay-back vacation.

Very cozy and friendly welcoming atmosphere, our room was big and clean, amazing with a fireplace ready to use, there was a fridge, microwave and coffe machine with utensils. And a great innovation : Night light in the bathroom so you didn’t have to turn on the lights in the ceiling!! Something that most hotels completely lacks! Extra points for that!

An exceptionally comfortable stay — far beyond expectations. The room was beautifully and warmly decorated, even featuring a cozy fireplace. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, with great local recommendations, even has bathtub and beach towels. The breakfast was excellent. The location is also ideal, just a short walk from the shops and the beach. Absolutely loved it here, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time!
