What a sweet place to stay. I loved the quiet street and the lovely walk into town and to the beach. I had a fabulous room with a fireplace and a little sunny balcony I loved. Great bathroom as well. The staff were always very friendly and helpful.

“Lovely stay with personal touches”
Very cute property, felt family-run and personal. Good quality amenities inside including towels and showers/bath. Liked the fireplace inside and there was ample bedding and pillows spare in case of cold. Breakfast and snacks in reception area were very nice and thoughtful touch, and staff were very friendly and helpful with advice and suggestions.

“A beautiful welcoming inn in a stunning location.”
The location was excellent. It was central in Carmel but set slightly back from the main Avenue and so it was more private and quiet on an evening. No traffic noise. We were made to feel very well from the minute that we arrived. The staff offered good advice on places of interest. The breakfast was a lovely addition and the afternoon cookies and drinks were a lovely touch. Housekeeping was very good-the rooms always had plenty of fresh towels/ linens.

“Excellent stay, would highly recommend!”
Great location, extremely comfortable. Great beds, pillows and loads of towels. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom suite which was perfect t for the family. Lovely welcome touches, fresh baked cookies. Delicious breakfast of fresh fruits, yoghurts, quiche, oatmeal and pastries. Staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. Altogether an excellent find and we would highly recommend.

Having stayed in chain hotels prior to our stay at Carmel Country Inn we were met with a warm welcome, tea and cookies. A fire in our spacious room and a fantastic breakfast. We throughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Carmel and at Carmel Country Inn.

Fantastic and very kind service. The room was very big. The place is dog friendly. Dog cannot be left alone in the the room, but the breakfast can be taken to the room. Carmel Country Inn is providing a list of dog friendly restaurants. Recommended places were great and we really enjoy that list.
