The location was pretty by the river, unit was clean and well appointed. Very comfortable stay and had everything we needed.

The property is ideally located just outside town and beside a hotel which is very convenient. The house was spotless and so very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the Carlow area.

The facilities were ideal for our needs, it offered a great stop to allow touring of the Irish South. We were very appreciative of the hosts extra compassion to our travel schedule and inability to locate the property. Should use the Post Code to locate property. Google failed us. Lovely to meet the host, enjoyed the welcome scones and milk in the fridge to ease our later than planned arrival. Would recommend for 2 couples.

The house is PRISTINE! A warm welcome upon arrival. We used it as a base for exploring Carlow Town & Kilkenny so location was perfect for us. Everything you could need for your stay is provided - including breakfast essentials & delicious homemade scones! Thank you Pat & Jindou.

When we arrived at the house we were met by pat and jin. They showed us around and made sure we knew where everything was. The house was spotless they were very generous with all the little extras especially the home made scones. There was nothing we didn't like also there is a lovely hotel 2 minutes walk

“January 23 visit”

Lovely house in the grounds of Woodford Dolmen Hotel only a few miles from Carlow. Was exceptionally clean and the owners had thought about the little extras such as providing slippers, toiletries and food on arrival. The house warmed up so quickly which was needed in January. You can eat and drink easily in the hotel just a short 1 min walk away. We will definitely use again if visiting Carlow again in the future.

very clean and comfortable property

Warm (literally 33 degree's) welcome from Pat and Jen, showed us around the property, which was great. Every little thing thought off even down to slippers. Very generous of Jen to have made us homemade scones and the fridge stocked with milk,eggs,bread and water, wouldn't have gotten that in a hotel. We loved our stay and didn't want to come home. The property is on the grounds of the woodroft hotel, so handy for a bite to eat or a pint of the black stuff.
