Everything! Really lovely, homely and comortable accommodation with two equally lovely ensuite bedrooms. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Pretty views at the front and privacy in the area to back of the property. Loads of parking space and superb location. Mairead had ready for us some lovely and tasty welcome treats which were very much appreciated, and came to say hello at the start of our stay and checked in with us at the end, making it clear to just let her know if there was anything we needed.

Apartment was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was great. We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home immediately. Would absolutely stay again.

“Wonderful apartment. Wish we had stayed longer!”
The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and left us a lovely welcome basket of goodies, which was much appreciated. The location was perfect for exploring Kilkenny, which is a really lovely town.

“Everything you could need plus a wonderful hostess!”
Mairead was very welcoming & we loved the wine, tea/coffee, bread/butter milk & fresh eggs from her hen that she welcomed us with. Thanks Mairead! It was also very handy to have 2 separate showers for our group & the location was great for exploring. The patio furniture was great as was all the decoration in the house.

“Great apartment, fantastic hosts.”
We stayed in the apartment attached to the B&B. As others have noted, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and perfect for us (family of 3). The kitchen had some basics left for us (fresh bread, milk, juice, coffee, tea, snacks and eggs from their own hens). There were also plenty of other basics in the cupboards for anyone wanting to cook. Showers were excellent - just want we needed after a long day's walking - and the beds were very comfortable. There is a nice enclosed patio attached to the apartment - nice if the weather is good! Mairead and Tony went above and beyond - from leaving food / wine for us, giving us suggestions for eating out in the local area and also for giving us a lift (a considerable distance), so we could walk a section of the Barrow Way. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay again if / when we are back this direction.

Everything at Orchardgrove was exceptional. The hosts were lovely, the apartment itself was beautiful, all the furnishings were of the highest quality, and it was spotlessly clean. The owners even invited my children to help feed their chickens, which they absolutely loved. I cannot recommend this place enough.

“Beautiful apartment in a countryside location”
Lovely single storey dwelling attached to the B&B, with it's own entrance and decking. Clearly recently rebuild or refurbished as everything was fresh and modern Very friendly hosts who provided a bounty of basics limiting our need to shop Short drive to Muine Bheag and Kilkenny
