The property had lots of comforts which made the stay very enjoyable: very comfortable bed. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The washing machine was handy as we had been on the road for a while.

Perfect spot to stay in while visiting the area! Lovely space with all the essentials for a comfortable stay! Martina was an excellent host, quick to answer any questions and extremely helpful!

We have been travelling for 6 weeks and this is the most comfortable we have felt in any accomodation so far.Lovely hosts that were there if needed but weren't intrusive. The cottage was well equipped with everything you might need,including a tumble drier and outdoor clothes line.Easy parking.Small supermarket was a short drive away.

“Mews with garden views, a place of the heart”

To call the Mews a lovely place would be an understatement: the place is enchanted, this little house is sorrounded by such beautiful colors and sights of nature that is impossibile not to feel peace, feel at home and feel like you reached a place you don't want to leave soon. Martina the host warmed us with kindness and efficiency, she showed to us the entire beautiful property and the amazing 2 acre garden, and we felt her love for nature and we bonded with it immediately. The house is clean, bright and extremely funcional: from washing-machine to microwave owen to traditional owen to dry-fryer, and we loved the many ecofriendly solutions adopted because many times nature comes after tourism: not in this case, here the blend was perfect. My son picked this place up from the map to be in position to visit the Wicklow region ("the Garden of Ireland") and he couldn't have done a better job: the town where the Mews is situatued (Rathvilly, a Gold Medal Tidy Town in the past) is less than one (amazing) hour drive from Gleandalough and a similar distance to Dublin, so it turned out to be a great base camp for our journeys. If life will bring us back to Ireland one day we will certainly look again for this beautiful place!

Our hosts couldn't be more friendly and helpful. On arrival there was everything you could want fresh milk yoghurt and eggs cereals tea coffee even toiletries all waiting for you. The mews was spotless and I genuinely couldn't recommend it more. Our host even loaned my partner books on history all in all a lovely weekend. Highly Highly recommend

Owner met us at a junction to lead us to the unit. Unit was on hosts property with access to gardens and hosts for chatting and information.

Very friendly and hospitable, everything really clean and modern with lots of nice little touches. Very quiet with access to a lovely garden.

No breakfast supplied .however Martina had left many essential food items and some extra surprises also The Garden was magnificent .the bed so comfy ,facilities totally excellent .And i really loved the FRESH hens eggs .Matina went to no end of trouble to ensure satisfaction .I couldent recommend this beautiful Mews more highly

Martina and family were delightful. They spent time to chat and shared a lot about their family, Ireland, nature and everything else. I felt like I was with family. They were available for any questions or recommendations. The house is immaculate, very neat, clean, fully stocked with utensils and anything else you would need. There were welcoming eggs, water, tomatoes, bread, coffee, tea , chips, granola bars and more. I wish I had more time to spend in the area. Their hospitality went a far way into elevating my experience here in Ireland. Her husband is warm and engaging and full of information on bees, birds, nature and current affairs. I could spend hours and hours listening to him. The location is excellent as a base to visit places on the east side of Ireland. Already miss it.

What a perfect place to stay; spotlessly clean, quiet, peaceful with delightful hosts. The cottage was extremely well equipped, bed was comfortable and there were lots of extra touches that were very much appreciated, Martina really has thought of everything. The garden is beautiful, having somewhere so nice to sit out on a pleasant summer's evening was a real bonus. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Martina and Mervyn for your hospitality, it was a pleasure to meet you both and stay in your lovely cottage.
