Mick and Majella kept in touch with us and were very welcoming, leaving milk and groceries for us in the fridge. Mick was an excellent host, friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. He made everything easy from check‑in to check‑out, and he was always available if I needed anything. I felt very well looked after. The property was spotless. Both bedrooms, the bathroom, and the kitchen were clean and well maintained. It really felt like care had been taken to ensure everything was ready to a high standard for guests. The facilities were impressive. The private entrance was a nice touch and gave the stay a real sense of independence. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed, and the free Wi‑Fi worked perfectly. The layout was comfortable and practical, and the furnishings felt homely and inviting. The bathroom was modern, fresh, and in great condition. I slept very well. Both bedrooms were cosy and quiet, with comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere. Temperature and noise levels were just right, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep. Breakfast wasn’t provided as part of the stay, but with the fully equipped kitchen it was easy to prepare my own meals, which suited me well. I would happily stay again and would recommend the property to others.

Comfortable, cozy cottage with a double bed downstairs and twin singles upstairs. Full kitchen and washing machine with drying rack and even an outdoor clothesline with pegs so we could do some washing. Toilet and shower in one room but provided with a squeegee broom to dry the floor. Well stocked dry food items in the pantry and milk and butter in the fridge. Free private parking outside the cottage and off the street.

The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. Everything was clean and the host came to check on us and even left fresh milk for us in the fridge. My friends and I had a lovely time and we will definitely come back if we are in this area.

Great communication throughout with a friendly check in that was reassuring and a pint of milk in the fridge that was super-thoughtful. Such a peaceful location with lovely countryside views behind the property. The little house itself was spotlessly clean with really good use made of the space so our overnight stay was really comfortable. What we saw online was exactly what we got. It took away the uncertainty of booking a room in local city hotels which had wildly differing reviews. That mattered as my Mum has mobility issues and the reassurance of knowing exactly where we would be sleeping helped us all to relax into the trip.

The quaintness of the cottage in the rural setting was wonderful! Cows, horses out in the paddocks a beautiful night. Host was accommodating in every way possible.

I had an amazing stay here with my family (2 adults and 2 kids). It is perfect if you are looking for your own space in a picturesque setting just a short drive to Kilkenny town. The cottage was stunning, very clean and had great views. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
