“Tranquility in the countryside”

The location is beautiful. Not far from Tullow, lovely countryside and the house is set back off a quiet road, with donkeys and goats in the paddocks. You can walk around the grounds and sit outside if you wish. The host is very welcoming and friendly. Coffee and tea making facilities in the hallway and biscuits in the jar. The room is comfortable and very quiet and the adjoining bathroom spacious and spotlessly clean.

The room was clean, comfortable and the en-suite was huge! There was tea and coffee making facilities in the hallway and also a couple of slices of yummy lemon drizzle cake. Sarah, our host, was very welcoming and everything was great.

“A storm and a tea cup!!”

I arrived on the evening of storm Bam! There was a power cut. Sarah messaged me in time to relocate. I decided to go anyway. Sarah appreciated no access to food locally and provided home made soup. Excellent. Also torches! The place is beautiful and spotless. I will be back next monnth!

Kind host, beautiful animals and land. A lovely addition with the cute coffee van in the morning and seating outside to chat with other guests too. As we had the car it was a perfect location to stay to visit a music festival Feile Vegan in Lisvardagh House nearby as it is a location suitable for car only. Already telling others about this accommodation for next year's festival as it was so convenient (6 minute drive) The room and bathroom were clean and nice. There is a kettle and coffee maker available to guests and it was a lovely place to unwind and reset as well as have the chats. I recommend coming with a 5 litre of water as it's room only and it is a remote location but Carlow town is not too far away by car and a Lidl.

Very clean & comfortable. Enjoyed meeting the donkeys! Sarah was very welcoming & gave good suggestions of things to do & places to eat from her local knowledge.

Beds were comfy, amazing free-standing bath, host was very friendly providing us with tourist information. Donkeys and black sheep were super friendly and cute - any guesthouse with animals is a bonus for me. Host made a lovely flat white the next morning.
