It was nice that the hosts left tea, coffee, eggs etc for us as after travelling to get there this was much appreciated. Quiet area with no disruption but right beside the hotel so easy to get dinner and drinks.

Everything was perfect! Jin and Pat were such nice hosts who not only came to give us the keys and show the property around, but were also kind to give us a lift from the bus stop when we arrived to Carlow and also offered to drop us to the bus station when we were leaving. The property was amazing!! The view from the living room was nothing short of stunning and the bed was so so comfortable!! All the little touches such as the cereals and coffee in the cupboard, eggs and milk in the fridge were also really good. The property was really clean as well so that's definitely a plus for me. The location was really handy as well with the bus stop to the town center just being a 10 minute walk. The property is also located in the grounds of the Woodford Dolmen hotel so it was easy to go have lunch and dinner as well. There were also cab services available so that was another plus. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to stay while they explore Carlow.

We had a very warm welcome. The very kind hosts provided us with cereal, milk, eggs, tea, coffee, bread, oil and all that one would expect in a home. Thank you it was a very pleasant stay!

It was good to meet the host, and the space was provided, there was a brief mix up around with rooms but that was resolved almost instantly. It was what we needed the day before a flight.

From the moment we arrived, Pat was incredibly accommodating—flexible with our check-in time and gave us a warm welcome with a helpful tour of the apartment. The place itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A special thanks to Pat and his partner Jin for the thoughtful touches—fresh milk, eggs, tea, coffee delicious scones were waiting for us, which made us feel right at home. Check-out was a breeze, and we truly wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another getaway. Highly recommended!

Lovely welcoming hosts. Delicious scones and jam left for us, plus basic breakfast produce which was very much appreciated as we arrived late after shops closed. It’s a peaceful location and within walking distance of a regular bus service into Carlow town.

The hosts are very kind. They offered small cakes, milk, eggs , water and bread to welcome us. Coffee and tee was readily available. They showed us the house and explained everything. The house is cosy and the bedroom upstairs is unique. We had a very pleasent stay. Since it is located close to the M9 you have easy access to the whole region. All shops are in Carlow. The hotel next door has a good restaurant. The access to the house is via the entry to the Woodford Dolmen Hotel, then keep left. Keep the hosts update concerning your time of arrival and they will wait and welcome you.
