The Retreat is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the centre of Carlingford. The place is so beautifully decorated and homely, with lots of finishing touches that make you feel so welcome. Beds are super comfortable, and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy too (with a cute little ginger cat who visited!). The host communicated all instructions clearly and was so helpful, only a message away. I would highly recommend the Retreat to anyone hoping to visit lovely Carlingford.

Our trip to Carlingford was enhanced by staying in this beautiful property- the interior design and decoration is superb. Essentials left in fridge , pods for Nespresso and fresh oranges to juice - just heaven.

Lovely place, great location really close to the middle of the village. Anna Marie was a really great host.

House was very quirky , the garden was fabulous.. and we were blessed with sunshine . Plenty of comfy beds great communication with the owner . She told us there was no rush home as there was nobody staying the next night . Very central , walking distance to all the bars and restaurants

The host is a pleasure to deal with! The house is in an amazing location- close to the very centre, but quiet enough to sleep! We cycled the Greenway and The Retreat is central for doing everything! We will definitely stay again.

Clean, well located and comfortable. The Retreat had excellent amenities and we appreciated the hosts responsiveness, early check in and nice touches like extras left for us in the fridge for breakfast. Highly recommend.
