Overview
Set in the beautiful Cooley Hills with coastal and forest views, Safe Haven is close to popular mountain, forest and beach walks, and a 10 minute drive to the medieval village of Carlingford. The house is decorated in modern, contemporary fashion with Boutique style features such as solid wood floors and open fireplaces. There is high speed internet access throughout the property. Guest bedrooms are furnished with luxury wall coverings, lamps and mirrors. They also include comfortable beds, duvets and pillows, dressing gowns, slippers and a hair dryer. Fresh coffee and Organic tea are also available. For guests booking the entire property, there is a large kitchen with a gas cooker, a dishwasher and fresh ground coffee machine. There is an American style fridge filled with complimentary breakfast food items, There is also a utility room with washer and dryer.

The host is very good. But the room was very cold, I was given another heater. The towels are wafer thin, but the bed was super comfy.

Nice place and clean, very comfortable beds. Cosy and warm house and stay. Mark is lovely and very helpful with any information needed. Great nights sleep, good location if its scenery your after. Breakfast is continental.

“Wonderful stay, wonderful host”
Mark provided us with lots of information before arrival including a video how to get to the property. He was also gave plenty of useful information of where to eat and drink together with taxi numbers if needed. A couple of places we tried and were not disappointed. The location of the property was lovely and peaceful with wonderful views and plenty of parking but only a short drive to Carlingford. The breakfast provided was enough to start your day and could be eaten at your convenience which was a bonus. There was also buscuits and fruit which was a nice touch. Mark was an extremely helpful, warm host and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
