Overview
Espacios del Mundo is located 10 km from the Natural Park of the Monasterio de Piedra, beautiful route to get from the apartments as they are 2 km from the reservoir of the gate and you have to go around until you reach the park, 15 minutes by car. Location in Carenas in the Piedra Valley, 23 km from Calatayud. It offers colourful apartments with ethnic-inspired décor, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The apartments at Espacios del Mundo feature decorative items from around the world. Each one has a lounge-diner with a sofa, as well as a kitchen with a hob, microwave and coffee maker. Outside there is a garden with various murals, as well as a terrace and porch with a barbecue where you can enjoy a meal outside. The area around Espacios del Mundo is great for hiking, and within a short drive you can visit the Santa Ana Monastery, Alcaída Palace and the Tranquera Reservoir. Zaragoza is around an hour’s drive away.

The communication from the host was excellent so finding and getting in the property was very easy. The property was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a nice stay. Even though it was only a one night stay it felt like home right from the start.

“Stay was ok, but wasn’t at the correct property.”
I booked to stay at Espacios Del Mundo, however on the day of arrival, was directed to Valle Del Rio Piedra, had pre-saved the location so headed to Espacios Del Mundo and only realised when I got there. I had at the point of booking considered VDRP property but favoured EDM unaware they were owned by the same owners. My stay was 2 nights so wasn’t worth making a fuss over. But don’t agree one bit that if you book to stay at one, the owners can place you in a different property the other side of the village (that has its own listing on booking.com too, it’s false advertising) I ended up staying at VDRP in the Aqua room. No point leaving a review for it here as it’ll be against the EDM property. Disappointed.

“Amazing secret gem, we hope to be back!”
Themed apartments, unique and creatively designed. We loved the place.. Sweet village, friendly people and close to the lake where we enjoyed a lovely evening swim after a long day in the car! Host very friendly and helpful.

“Cozy”
Our personal terrace was so beautifll with a view on the little town and the sunset. The location of the appartment was fabulous. A small little town in the mountains/desert of Spain. It was great that every apartement was another continent/espacia del mundo. We stayed in the african lodge, which was very cosy. On top we forgot our music speaker and we are now checking with the owner to have this sent back to Belgium. So gratefull

“Super”
