Chateau de Sainte Croix is an amazing place to stay-it is in a picturesque vineyard, with an amazing swimming pool and a great on site restaurant. The couple who manage the accommodation were so incredibly lovely and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast on the terrace was a perfect start to each day.

Fantastic views and peaceful location. Very spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast overlooking vineyards. Lovely private pool. Efficient air conditioning. Close to wine shop and excellent restaurant Le Patriache. Hosts very friendly and accommodating.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
The breakfast was very good.; yoghurt, croissants/pain au chocolat/individual pots of jam, honey etc, fresh baguette, plenty of coffee, all on a sunny terrace overlooking the grounds. Pool was great. Local area lovely. Restaurant on site was excellent.

“A great place to enjoy wine”
There was a substantial amount of shared space on my floor adjacent to the room, including the terrace, and I was lucky enough to be the only person staying there so I more or less had it to myself. The bedroom was air conditioned, which was a pleasant surprise as that's not a guarantee in many locations. The wine was excellent and inexpensive, and the pool area was a great place to relax each afternoon while sipping a bottle. The property was quiet at night, and breakfast was very good each morning. While I was originally concerned about how remote the property is, the closest town is only a few minutes away and a few other towns are within a 20 minutes drive. I also appreciated the staff's working with my inability to speak French, I was very anxious about it upon arriving but I was made to feel welcome immediately.
