Set in an ancient building next to Mount Tifata, Masseria Della Casa is surrounded by a garden and a stone courtyard. It is a 5-minute drive from the Santa Maria Capua Vetere exit of the A1 motorway. Rooms are simply furnished and functional. They come with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. On sunny days, the continental breakfast can be enjoyed in the garden porch. Otherwise, it is served in the dining room. Providing free parking, La Masseria is 3.5 km from Santa Maria Capua Vetere and 5 km from Capua. The La Reggia Designer Outlet is a 15-minute drive away.

“If you travel by car and need a family room, this accommodation is a good option.”
The host was very kind and told us a lot of interesting information about the history of the region. We liked the private parking. The breakfast was nice although very simple.

“Perfect!”
Very nice and helpful hosts. They let me use the washing machine when we arrived in the evening. The bed was comfy with enough blankets. Due to Covid, the breakfast was provided in a basket in the room, which we could have in the breakfast room. We could use the shared kitchen, fridge to store our food in. car spaces infront of the house with a gate. Thanks would definitely recommend 👍

“Had a great stay, lovely owners”
The house is located on the outskirts of the old Capua next to the major motorway between Rome and Salerno, hence within easy reach. The room we booked offered a lovely view of countryside (hills, olive trees etc). It did not lack anything that we would have concerns about. The bed was comfy with enough covers/blankets in case of cold night. Due to Covid, the breakfast (sweet Italian style) was provided in the basket which we could have in a breakfast room. Really appreciated we could make as many cups of teas as possible (my husband drinks it in litres) and use the shared kitchen, fridge to store our food in. The house itself offers a lot of car park space in the front of the house court yard There are a couple of pizzerias around (about 2kms from the house - head right on the major road when leaving the house) and famous amphitheatre is within easy reach. Also worth visiting San Michele Arcangelo which is a church dating to the 10th century with lovely mural paintings. The owners are an elderly couple, very friendly and helpful who appreciate meeting new people. We practised our bad Italian :-) La Masseria is a very nice place to stay and I would recommend to anyone who is after rural setup
