Overview
Overlooking Lake Vico, La Bella Venere is right on the waterfront, 10 minutes' drive from Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola. Enjoy breakfast out on the terrace with beautiful views across the lake. Rooms here have an elegant design with carpeted floors and LCD TVs. Each one comes with free Wi-Fi, a minibar and private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. Some offer lake views. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet served in the dining hall or on the terrace on request. La Bella Venere also features a children's playground, tennis court and five-a-side football pitch. Dances are organised at the weekend. Free parking is provided and the nearest train station is 20 minutes' drive away in Capranica. Set inside Lake Vico Nature Reserve, the property is 20 km south of Viterbo.

“Beautiful place where I felt well looked-after.”
Staff were exceptionally helpful at all stages. The location is fabulous, right on the water, next to a nature reserve: I had a lovely lake-side walk with great birdlife and swam in the lake. Breakfast was lovely, very personal service. It was slightly out of season, so very quiet. (I suspect it gets very busy with families later in the summer - would be a great family location, lots of facilities.)

“Could be perfect, but good for now”
We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location of the hotel is excellent – very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, with a stunning lake nearby. The rooms were clean and tidy, everything was in good condition and nothing was broken, which made the stay pleasant and comfortable.

The location is truely incredible. Our room windows opened a beautiful panorama of the Lake. The food at the restaurant at the hotel was very good! We were there in July, when all throughout Italy people suffered from heat, but in this place we enjoyed fresh and cool air. What a surprise! If you come this area, you have to visit Villa Farnese, advised to us by the owner of the hotel! We didn't know about the Villa and were so fortunate to discover it. Amazing place! Grateful for the advice!
