Important clarification: - Casa Checca - is the 1st floor apartment and the only which has the rooftop terrace seen here in the descriptions/pictures/etc. with a 360 view towards Caprarola including Farnese Palace; this rooftop terrace can be reached only in case you'll stay in apartment Checca (i.e. Casa Checca); Checca apartment, is situated above a grocery shop from where we could purchase our breakfast etc. (the shop is closed on Sundays); Checca's living & kitchen areas as well as the bedroom area are overlooking the narrow street and a very tall and long old building (high school and the local theater) therefore not view towards Caprarola etc; behind and in the inner courtyard of this tall & long building situated accross the access street you'll find a public parking place (Parcheggio Ex-Scuderie) - Casa Maria - is the minus (-) 1 floor (part of the same downhill building which includes at road/ground level the grocery shop and on top of it Casa Ceccca; Casa Maria DOES NOT include a roof terrace and has NO access to Checca's rooftop terrace; Casa Maria has its own balcony (a table for 2 persons max); From Maria's living room and balcony you have a partial view towards old Caprarola and surroundings; Casa Maria's balcony is partly open air from where you have a partial view of Caprarola (blocked view by a house across) and partially closed (part of the Maria's bedroom) but from where you can better see Caprarola. We stood in both apartments. We would return in any of them but of course would definitely prefer Casa Checca, the only one with the rooftop terrace.

Light modern and clean appartment. The shower is spacious in compering with other appartments 😀.The terras with an amazing view is beautiful. Good restaurants within walking distance. The location is very central so you can do a lot of difference activities. Also the nice present with local items was appreciated. We defintly reccoment this location.

Stefania's apartment is ideally located in Capralora. It's 200 meters from the city's main attraction, Villa Farnese, and just 100 meters from a free parking lot. The biggest highlight is the large rooftop terrace, from which you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the ancient city. The brand - new apartment has a very modern decor and, to our pleasant surprise, it even has a washing machine which was not mentioned in the listing! Before visiting the city, we looked at almost all the available accommodation options in the area. In hindsight, our choice was absolutely right. This apartment is the best option for visiting this city.

One word: Amazing! Stefania is an amazing host and supplying all information proir to the stay. All perfect and very well explained. The apartment is magnificent. Spacious, well equipped and decorated. Two showers, one with a nice surprise. Parking is available in a free public parking spot, just 2 minutes footwalk away.

The view, proximity to restaurants, modern decor and airconditioning, the local treats provided were delicious.

Good and friendly host communication before arrival, clear self check-in with key box, tasteful design with decent appliances, arrival gift box, basics already in kitchen (coffee, salt, pepper, etc), decent bed, free communal parking around the corner (although a bit steep for lower clearance vehicles, just doable with lower sedan, Tesla Model 3 / 12 cm clearance).

We chose this place while traveling around Italy with our own car. A great place for a short stop on the way from the north of Italy to the south. A cozy, small town that will charm you with its narrow streets and small shops. The apartments themselves are extremely clean, we felt that the owners take special care of it. The check-in process is very simple and convenient. Well, the view from the terrace of the apartment is simply amazing, all you have to do is enjoy the great evening views and a delicious dinner. Definitely recommend!

“Perfect apartment to explore a wonderful historic village.”

Fantastic location, easy to find. Right in the heart of the village (Caprarola) which was exceptionally beautiful. The apartment was great,new renovation, great shower, nice kitchen, comfortable bedding. A very short 3 min walk for a perfect Negroni at a fun bar, then to the Trattoria del Cimino for one of the most exceptional meals ever. 6th generation proprietor, a young man who trained all over Europe has returned home. The amatriciana was perfection. We'd like to return for a week!

The level of detail that the host has put into every single part of both of these apartments is astounding, they were so so comfortable, the views were wonderful, quiet, exceptionally clean, an amazing welcome basket, the temperature was perfect. The pictures do not begin to do this place justice. The location is just meters away from Palazzo Farnese, the roof terrace was wonderful, offering shade, and views of the valley and town. The balconies are an added bonus! This town has so much to offer, and I had one of the best meals of my life at La Casa del Gusto just down the road. If you want a tranquil, beautiful break to feast the eyes and soothe the soul pick Casa Checca, treat yourself.

This apartment would be in the top even in Switzerland or Monaco. Sophisticated design, amazing atmosphere, beyond perfect location. There is nothing you can wish what you wont find from the tasteful selection of teas to the washing machine. We were simply speechless when we arrived.
