Overview
Set on the banks of the River Arno, this family-run B&B is set in a 14th century villa with a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace. Capolona Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. Rooms at Villa La Nussa have terracotta or carpeted floors and views of the river or olive groves. Each includes a private bathroom with shower. The B&B also provides a shared lounge with TV and fridge. Breakfast at La Nussa Villa is Italian-style, with croissants and cappuccino coffee. A choice of restaurants and cafés are located in the town centre, a short walk away. The B&B is a 75-minute drive from both Siena and Florence. Parking is free.

“A property with a lot of character”
The property is quite extensive and exhibits all the charms of a bygone age albeit maintained to a 21st century standard. It is on the edge of the village and parking was around the back in a grassy area across the road. There are several apartments in a converted outbuilding and ours was on the ground floor - a spacious main room with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area, a good-sized bedroom and bathroom. Outside was a covered area with table and chairs looking out onto the patio garden. Our hostess was welcoming and interesting as she indulged our curiosity about the fascinating history of the villa. A 10 minute walk from the villa brings you to a couple of simple bars in the village popular with the locals.

“This place has history and Tuscany beauty written all over it!!!!!”
This was my first stop in Tuscany, sorta random. WOWOW. I was impressed with the tour the host provided of the facility and my room. She also gave me directions to a restaurant in the city plus suggested a hillside drive for photos the following morning which turned out to be spectacular. This is a one of a kind property with a family history which is worth the visit. I also want to say thanks to the host for all her assistance and information... she made my stay very enjoyable. A sorry I had to leave so early in the morning!!!! On the river, short walk to the city. Just great.

Perfect spot for Tuscany. Good location for trips. And perfect comfort there. There is nice swimming pool for very hot days during holidays. Perfect communciation with host. Thank you. A lot of parking place for more than 1 car.

“Pleasant, peaceful, and wonderful hosts.”
Nicest hosts I have ever stayed with! We misunderstood about the pool not being open due to it being out of season, but they were very nice about it. They tried to get the pool up and running during our stay and invited us to dine with them that evening. in the morning Cinzia and a lovely local man Mario took us on a tour of the surrounding area showing us many beauty spots. All free of charge! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Comfortable apartment with lots of space. Nice garden with swimming pool! Ideal for family with children. Big parking for free. Owner is also very charming and helpful.
