Overview
Set on its own private beach in Capo Vaticano, Villaggio Rocca Di Vadaro is a family-run resort with an outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre. It provides a free shuttle to Ricadi Train Station 2 km away. Bright and comfortable, the apartments offer a balcony or terrace with a view of the swimming pool, garden or sea. Each one is air conditioned and features a fully equipped kitchen and satellite TV. The Rocca Di Vadaro Villaggio includes a bar and restaurant offering traditional dishes from the Calabria region. Half and full-board options are available, as are discounts for children. A shuttle service to the airport is available on request. Staff arrange trips around the Aeolian Islands and to Tropea, 10 km away. Entertainment is organised for adults and children.

The sea is beautiful. The beach is also beautiful, although small. The location is also beautiful, but I expected it to be more spacious. The staff is very attentive and friendly. There is a bar open from morning until night, and it's very pleasant to have a drink overlooking the sea while watching the sunset. The breakfast room is spacious and beautiful, and there are several options available. They have golf carts for pickup and drop-off at two nearby restaurants, which is very convenient. Covered parking is available for a fee.

We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Rocca di Vadaro in Capo Vaticano. The location is absolutely stunning—right by the sea, with a private beach and a lovely swimming pool. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing seaside holiday. Our room was a bit small, but it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The real standout was the staff: everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We can warmly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Capo Vaticano. A peaceful, scenic, and welcoming place to stay!

Cozy hotel, great sea! nice and clean beaches. great and attentive staff. Simple but tasty breakfast. The area is very mountainous and the hotel will help you with transportation to the restaurant on the mountain. Pets are allowed here!!

I had an unforgettable experience at Roca di Vadaro! 🌅 The location is absolutely stunning — words can’t describe how beautiful it is! You can admire a breathtaking sunset directly over the Stromboli volcano, a magical moment you’ll never forget. The beach, although not sandy, is really nice, with a relaxing atmosphere and crystal-clear water perfect for swimming or snorkeling. 🐠🌊 The staff is extremely friendly — always ready to help with any question you have. Every time I needed information, I got an immediate and helpful response, always with a smile. A place where you can truly disconnect and enjoy the best of what Italy has to offer. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹💙

Very good location in Capo Vaticano, courteous and efficient staff always ready with any information and booking activities like snorkeling, pleasant cafe terrace for breakfast or lunch, good WiFi. Good prices and sufficient choices for lunch (but not dinner).
