“Wonderful apartment in a fantastic area”

Casa Antonia was perfect for our four-night stay in Capileira. We were warmly welcomed by Maria, who was also quick to respond to any questions we had via WhatsApp during our stay. The house has two apartments, one with its own small terrace and one with a French balcony (though you can also sit outside on the patio in front of the house). We had the terrace and enjoyed the afternoon sun there after our hikes. The house is located on a small alley with no car traffic (like almost all streets in Capileira). This makes it wonderfully quiet, especially at night. Inside, it’s rustic and super cozy, equipped with everything you need. There’s a fireplace and heating that quickly warms up the rooms in the evening. It was also very clean. Distances in Capileira are short: the supermarket, restaurants, cafés, and a few shops are just a few steps away. The village is perfect for nearby hikes, such as up or down the Poqueira Gorge, as well as higher-altitude tours, which can be reached by bus. The car can be easily parked at the upper parking lot in Capileira. We felt completely at home here, highly recommend Casa Antonia, and would love to come back right away.

“Friendly responsive host and well equipped apartment”

Great location near a lively plaza with great restaurants. The host was lovely - friendly, very helpful and responsive- she met us at the recommended car park to guide us to the accommodation. The apartment has everything you need and enough space for a couple

The house was lovely and has a very well equipped kitchen. It was in the perfect spot, just down from the main village square. We did not need to use it but there is heating should you need it. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked and the shutters were very good for getting a great sleep. We went on some good walks from Capileira and also walked to Bubion and Pampaneira. Very doable and great views. Great place to stay.
