Overview
Located in Capileira in the Sierra Nevada National Park, these rustic-style apartments offer wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. They are 73 km from Granada and just 50 km from the coast. All apartments at Apartamentos Turísticos Las Chimeneas have a furnished balcony, 1 or 2 bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchenette, including a hob, washing machine and fridge. There is also a fireplace and cable TV. There are some small shops and restaurants in Capileira, the highest village of the Barranco de Poqueira. Staff are happy to provide more information about activities in the park and the surrounding area. Federico García Lorca Airport can be reached in about 1.5 hours by car and Malaga Airport in 2 hours.

“A great choice”
The apartment was clean and in a great location in the village. It was an easy walk to a number of bars and restaurants. Although the owner didn't speak English, we got by with Google translate. He very kindly brought us a kettle and dealt with an Internet problem immediately. This was much appreciated.

“Comfortable flat with a beautiful view from the balcony”
The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was fabulous. The shower was good and the kitchen was well fitted out with pans and utensils.

Simple apartment (1 living-room/kitchen + 1 bedroom) with very nice terrace (far way view on mountains) The view is from the terrace, from the window in the living room/kitchen. Less from the bedroom. Uncomplicated and nice hosts. We wanted an additional pillow and they gave us one. Capileira is a very nice place to stay, very good and inexpensive restaurants, hikes from there. We stayed two nights.

“Returned to simple flat with lovely balcony!”
The south facing balcony with views over the traditional white chimney pots to the mountains . New shower and very hot water. Central heating came on for chilly evenings. Near centre. Very clean. Good value.

“Excellent”
Nice little apartment with beautiful balcony. Really nice and helpful staff. Easy access to hiking trails. Good wifi. Would stay again.
