Our children enjoyed the opportunity to stay on a boat and play with the dog. Sally and Brett are lovely hosts and the breakfast was delicious.

The barge is very charming and the hosts are lovely . Sally made us the most delicious evening meal, beautifully presented and enhanced by eating out on deck with some excellent wine. Brett was very attentive and friendly. Our cabin was extremely clean and comfortable and we slept really well. We have nothing but praise for Brett and Sally , they do everything so well . Breakfast was really excellent , loads of choice and great coffee. It was a real treat and we cannot recommend this highly enough . Thanks for one of the nicest experiences of our holiday . We have a delightful stay in the barge for a night. Brett and Sally are wonderful hosts. They worked so hard to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. Dinner and breakfast were served on the deck and was plentiful, exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended if you wanted an experience of staying in the boat.

We loved the experience getting to sleep on a canal of course. Even in the heat wave experienced by France when we were there it was comfortable. But the highlight was our delightful hosts. Brett and Sally. We opted for dinner on board as well as the breakfast. We were not disappointed. The dinner, adapted to the heat of the day, was an absolute delight. Generous servings of accompanying alcohol, but most importantly, quality ingredients well presented. Could not help noticing the quality was far higher than we had experienced in French restaurants charging EU20+ more...

Sally and Brett male everything possible to make sure we felt welcome. From accomodation, table d'hote, breakfast, lunch, tips, etc.. They made a wonderful night stop in our bike trip along the canal. We would definitely book again!

Where do we start?! From the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully well. We were met as we drove up and taken on board the delightful Perniche Caroline. Everything about our stay was superb: our cabin was clean, cosy and so comfortable; we sat on deck with an aperitif before dinner. The dinner was exceptional - beautifully presented, incredibly flavoursome and the locally sourced wine was also lovely. After a wonderful night's sleep, the breakfast that awaited us was the best we have had in France. Above all, our hosts were truly lovely people and passionate about their business. We can't recommend this place enough and will certainly be returning ourselves.

Nice location and not the usual kind of stay. Very nice welcome from Brett and Sally. Ok the room was not huge, on the contrary, a bed basically with space to put your bag, but c'mon, its a boat. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent experience. I would come again.

It's quiet, you can relax on the deck , the hosts are very welcoming and try to do their best to help you and I was able to speak in English. It's cheap as well.

Bret and Sally were absolutely wonderful. They made us an incredible dinner and breakfast spread that we were able to enjoy on the boat. They were consistently checking in on us to ensure we were comfortable and went out of their way to give us recommendations about the area. We couldn’t recommend this stay enough — if we weren’t going in the opposite direction we would have stayed another night.

“LOVELY EXPERIENCE.”

Brett and Sally are the best hostess we have ever had at a hotel. The room are small so only bring a small case from the car, The car is only 10 meters away. Sally's cooking is very good order dinner before you go. This is a Barge and Barges are small, But don’t let this put you off it has all you need. Drinking a glass of wine on the top deck with someone special saying "Bonjour" to the odd pasting boat. Lovely evening Lovely stay.
