I loved everything. The gentleman who assisted me to check in was extremely friendly and kind, he assisted with my gigantic suitcase. The guest house is quaint and serene. Guests were quiet and respectful . The room was comfortable , clean and well furnished, loved the decor. It was so cosy on that rainy evening! The staff and owners thought of all the little details. The neighbourhood is quiet and the property is on a short road that ends at a cul de sac. Thank you for the packed breakfast! I would not hesitate to return.

“A gem in the southern suburbs”
The Wild Olive has exceptional staff who made my stay extremely comfortable. My room was spacious, clean and had high quality linen. The air-conditioning was a life save during a Cape Town heatwave, while the off-street parking was handy too. I enjoyed a swim in the pristine pool (towels supplied by the hosts), and the cash bar came in handy for a cold drink. The guest house's proximity to the Kelvin Grove Club and the Claremont Virgin Active gym added to the convenience of my stay. Lastly, the breakfast was outstanding. I will be back.

The Villa was a great family home and a base to explore Cape Town from. Very well equipped kitchen and BBQ and it was great to be able to have laundry facilities available too. Bernita was incredibly helpful and friendly, even stocking a few gluten free treats for our family. Highly recommend the Villa at the Wild Olive Grove.

“Lovely place, will come back”
Superb breakfast, lovely guesthouse. Especially Benita was an absolute star and very sweet. We loved everything about the accommodation, staff, food. The mattress wasn't great, but that's personal preference.
