Great location, beautiful building tastefully decorated and lovely garden area. Quiet yet walking distance to many great places to eat. Attractive surrounding neighbourhood which felt safe walking around. Very clean and comfortable and friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent offering for breakfast and tasty.

A stunning old heritage house built by an architect ex mayor of Cape Town. Glimpses of the mountain from patio and some rooms. The breakfast is a lovely start to the day - cooked to order, a wide choice and a daily special in addition to the standard menu. Delicious fresh orange juice. We were met late at night at the airport by Keith which was arranged by the hotel and he got us directly into our room quickly. Not the cheapest transfer but worth every rand. Parking was easy once we picked up our hire car and although it was on the street outside the cottage it seemed to be safe enough. Plenty of local residents were parked there too. Provided umbrellas, offered advice and bookings, dinner recommendations were all excellent. Honesty system bar for soft and alcoholic drinks downstairs. Ubers very easy to find - usually at the door within a minute of ordering. Driving quality of ubers rather less reliable but we survived. Had the weather been hotter the tables outside would have been lovely. Good wifi.

Everything was perfect. Localisation was pretty good, we rented a car for the furthest places and did the city with Uber. Parking in front of the cottage is easy. The room was absolutely beautiful, clean, quiet. The staff is the friendliest, and breakfast is amazing, served on the terrace when it is sunny. Thank you so much for our stay!

The breakfasts were really excellent. We needed no more to eat until the evening. Plenty of choice to suit everyone and all freshly cooked. Eating out in the lovely garden was a very good experience. The staff were helpful in organising taxis for us so we could travel about Cape Town.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and felt genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The guesthouse is small, private, and beautifully maintained, which creates a very relaxed and personal atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always helpful and warm without being intrusive. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, high quality, and a perfect start to the day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless and well cared for. Overall, we felt completely at home and truly enjoyed our time here. We will definitely return and can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a cozy, high-quality stay.

A gem of a heritage property. Great location close to decent . Tasteful decor reflecting the heritage of South Africa. Beds very comfy and gorgeous bed linen. The staff especially Tomas were wonderful and so helpful. And lastly the breakfasts were amazing.
