The style and attention for detail was amazing and the staff is really friendly. I felt very much at home.

The whole place! It's like staying in someone's perfect cosy home. The breakfast is the most delicious I've ever had in a hotel, prepared & cooked with love! The bedrooms are so unique. The bed was so comfy, decor amazing.. little things like shower gel in glass bottles, blankets, crocheted-covered hangers, drinking water in a glass bottle. I loved it all.

A home away from home. Just the warmest team, amazing breakfast and eclectic interiors. By the time you leave, you'll want to bring Russel's breakfast and lemon curd recipes with you, some of the driver Lino's young wisdom and Fatima's warm smiles and jokes. I will definitely come back.

Decor was stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and very very generous portion wise! Location was great, walkable during the day to v&a waterfront and ubers were easy to get to further afield places/at night.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Although I was only there for one day, I really wish I could have stayed longer. The owner, Rassel, was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was cozy and inviting. Breakfast was absolutely spectacular, with great quality and attention to detail. On top of that, the artistic décor around the house was stunning and gave the place a unique charm that made the stay even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed place to stay.

It was very charming and beautifully curated with striking artworks and quirky ornaments placed around. Russell was delightful and friendly and the breakfast deserved its fame. The area is obviously having a moment with hidden gems in the side streets. And a short walk to V&A if that’s up your street.

The location is good to get to the V&A Waterfront (also walking) or anywhere in the city with an uber.

What’s is not to like. Russell and his team are unbelievable hosts with services levels world class. The super star here is the Breakfast. Without any doubt this has to be the most amazing breakfast we have had and alone a reason we will return.

Very welcoming staff and fabulous hospitality. Stayed in two different rooms and both were very charming (though I like the solo room a bit more). Breakfast was also very tasty.

What a wonderful old Victorian style boutique hotel run by wonderful hosts Allen and Russell. Stylish, charming and full of character. Every room is uniquely styled with interesting antiques everywhere you look. Staying here was a memorable experience. Allen and Russell were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. And the breakfasts were incredible with everything home made and delicious.
