Overview
This lodge is situated in the suburb of Milnerton on the eastern shore of Table Bay, close to a golf course, beach and 11 km from Cape Town city centre. The lodge is conveniently located in Milnerton, a green, quiet and safe residential zone not too far away from the well-known Sunset Beach that stretches northwards to Blaauwberg beach, the perfect place for surfers with its variety of sporting activities and fantastic views of Cape Town, Table Mountain and Robben Island. The hotel is also a short drive from the airport and the largest shopping centre in Africa which includes an extensive array of shops, entertainment facilities and eating places. Hajos Lodge is made up of two different properties, exactly across the very quiet road from each other. The main house has got 3 Classic rooms and 1 Superior room as well as the reception and breakfast area. The second house offers 3 Deluxe rooms and 2 Superior rooms. Each property has got an own garden and pool. This friendly and charming residence features a homely atmosphere and houses functionally furnished, comfortable and contemporary accommodation with traditional ethnic touches, as well as offering a range of modern amenities to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

The wifi is atrocious. Side note, I rented a car through Booking.com and cancelled the transaction but I have not received my refund on that cancellation. Kindly explain that to me. My email address is [email protected]

The breakfast was dissapointing. It was supposed to be a cold buffet and then hot food to order. There was no cold buffet!!! They said their speciality was melted cheese on toast so I ordered it and it was a plain toasted cheese which also came on the wrong bread. No offer to rectify it. We also ordered a superior room which said a double bed but it was 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single duvets. The actual lodge was empty but they put us in the house across the road where we were also the only guests.

Only stayed here for one night but the stay was perfect, lodge is beatiful, staff friendly and the stay was all and all highly relaxing after a long flight.

“Guest House with views of Table Mountain”
Hajos is an excellent host and takes care of the details to make sure guests are happy. The guest house is well equipped and rooms looks out on to the pool area with a lovely garden. Location is excellent too, close to the beaches, restaurants and pubs. The Paddock shopping mall is within walking distance.
