Overview
Boasting a direct beachfront location a few steps from Sea Point, the Riviera offers fully equipped self-catering accommodation. A shuttle bus to V&A Waterfront stops regularly opposite the resort. All accommodation comes with a kitchenette to enable guests to prepare their favourite meals. Some units feature a furnished balcony to eat outdoors while enjoying the ocean breeze. The Riviera Suites has a 24-hour front desk and offers many services, including an airport shuttle to the nearby Cape Town International Airport. A tour desk is provided to help guests explore the area. Cape Town’s city centre is minutes away by car. Limited parking is available for a daily fee and needs to be pre-arranged in advance.

“Not so romantic night away”
It was being renovated with that in mind still having torn bedding, and doors and windows that are renovated and a mission to open or close is not acceptable. Bathroom had urine on the toilet and poorly installed toilet seat and broken flush button. Also found hairs in the shower and contractors dirty stains on the bathroom floor. Couldn't sleep with the constant outside noise and yes it is an area know for it's nightlife but surely catering for guests sleep should also be a priority. The idea was nice but it is not worth it.

“Feels like Home”
Staff was really helpful and always smiling, with very gentle behaviour. Even though I could not arrive on the original day of my booking due to the storm in Cape Town, they accommodated me the next day and extended/adjusted my stay without any extra charge. The room was very clean and tidy, the shower area was excellent, and the washroom was spacious and spotless. The First Group is doing a great job taking care of this property. I usually travel to Cape Town 4–5 times a year, so I will definitely make sure that Riviera Suites is my first choice on Booking.com. The location in Sea Point is also excellent. Even they allowed me late check out , I really enjoyed my stay at Riviera Suites.

Our stay at the Riviera was excellent. The hotel is very clean, well located, and has a very helpful and attentive staff. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great experience. We would definitely recommend it and would gladly stay here again.
