“calm”
It’s not the first time I’ve stayed at this hotel, but the truth is that from one year to the next I noticed an improvement in the hotel’s hygiene standards. The room was very tidy and clean. The common areas remain my favorite — a garden full of lush vegetation and many birds. I believe I will return.

“Great place for decompressing and going offline (literally). The breakfast should be improved though”
The staff was amazing! The hotel is quiet with picturesque views. Especially Tallman, he was very helpful with the crocodiles and boat ride. I had a chance to pet a crocodile!

A great location and an interesting idea to have the restaurant overlooking a lake. The islands on the lake are full of birds coming home to roost for the evening offering you a great free show! Crocodiles are also part of the hotel decor! A lovely introduction to our visit to Kakum national park the following day

“Good value, excellent location for the Park”
It’s an interesting complex. Not expensive and ideal for getting a head start on a visit to the local National Park. Cheese omelette was excellent.

Nice unique set up, the staff is super friendly. Rooms are nice and modern. Seeing the crocodiles and doing the boat tour around was fun!

“Beautiful serene surroundings”
The grounds are beautiful. Very much like Botanical gardens. It was a beautiful serene place. My room was very small, but just right for one person with everything I needed. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and friendly and extremely attentive - special thanks to Zachara and Richard and colleagues and to Mac the manager. He was happy to act as a tour guide. It was a great privilege also to meet the owner Mr Hanson! This is a great place for birdwatching, and I did get to see three of the crocodiles. The restaurant is lovely and has great views of the lake and the grounds. I found it to a great base for visiting Kakum National Park and Elmina Castle. Amsterdam Fort is worth a visit. The Botel is remote and you do need a car. There are no restaurants or bars within walking distance. For this reason I'd stay again for a short visit. Three nights would have been ideal for me.
