Karen is easy to communicate with and she is very attentive. We had a medical problem, and she was very caring and came down to check in on us even when we returned late. Karen tried her best to accommodate any requests and responded promptly. The housekeeper was very friendly too. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. Lovely views from the balcony. Quiet residential location. You would need a car to stay at South Sea House. 5-10 mins from Pidgeon point, and in my opinion, the best beach, with great eateries. 10 mins depending on traffic to Rodney Bay.

“Perfect apartment”

My two friends and I stayed here for 4 nights on our trip to St Lucia and absolutely loved it. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed being able to have a lazy day by the pool. The apartment is a little way out of town but if you have a car or don't mind a short (10-15min) taxi it's no issue at all, and it's a good base to explore the surrounding area from. Karen was very helpful and friendly when we first arrived, and the digital guidebook we were provided with was also very helpful. We highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfy, quiet stay in the north of the island :)

“Lovely apartment would stay again.”

We liked almost everything about South Sea House. Host was thoughtful considerate and kind. Pool though small was very welcoming. Everything you need is provided and available in the kitchen. Bedrooms were spacious both also had an en-suite. Views are magnificent.

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. The swimming pool and plunge pool are an added bonus. The hosts are very friendly and attentive to all requirements.

We have just returned from two weeks here. The location was close to everything and easy to find if you have access to a vehicle, which we did. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The private plunge pool and outdoor pool were amazing. Karen and Jerome were fantastic hosts and had two bottles of cold Pitons in the fridge on arrival. We will definitely stay here again.

Location was good and it has a beautiful view. The appartement was clean at arrival. It looks exactly like the pictures. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi were a real plus.

Our hosts, Karen and Jérôme, were absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, Karen made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our arrival and was always available to answer any questions. Their hospitality really made our stay special. The house itself is stunning—spacious, clean, filled with natural light, and even more beautiful in person. The view, and the sunrise were one of the highlights of our stay. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing our own meals and made us feel right at home. If you’re planning to visit SLU, especially around carnival time, I can’t recommend this place enough. Local shops, restaurants and most of the fêtes are just a few minutes drive away, making it the perfect spot to enjoy all the celebrations. Thank you for your hospitality Karen! I look forward to staying at South Sea House again very soon!

“Perfect rest with private pool as well as beautiful infinity pool.”

Karen and Jerome were friendly and helpful hosts. We had everything we needed. Francis our taxi driver was reliable and helpful. We self catered for the week and visited Marjorie’s bar when we had energy.

As with all my reviews I’ll be open and honest….me and my partner were staying in Soufriere, our accommodation wasn’t the best & we also wanted to see more of the island, we saw this place become available and had a “it’s too good to be true” moment and from the moment we booked it all I can say is Karen and Jerome were so accommodating, provided helpful resources & guides for the area. I will say that for some reason people struggle to find this accommodation, something to do with Sat Nav’s sending people wrong or confusion as to exactly where it is, BUT everyone has simply called Karen, she’s explained on the phone and then each driver we had instantly knew! Karen also has a taxi driver ‘Francis’ on hand who is a great guy, very funny, and helpful. This place is pretty tucked away, very peaceful so we just did a bit of a shop before we arrived to stock up, then got taxi trips when needed and tied them in with our day trips, in an ideal world I’d say get a car just to make things easier, for us it was just cheaper to do taxi journeys rather than get a car for how long we were there. People have mentioned the driveway, it is very steep I will say that, but I just used it as chance to burn some more calories to eat more food haha! But yeah honestly Karen was so helpful, very on it & provided everything for a truly incredible stay, and we genuinely would stay here again without a question.

Having the option of a pool and dip pool for the hotter lazy days

Karen was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Able to give me lots of tips and advice for my stay. Flat was in beautiful condition and kitchen very well equipped. Karen answered any questions promptly and as two female travellers made us feel extremely safe & welcome.

“Quiet and beautiful - we loved our stay!”

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights recently and loved it! A little difficult to find at first, but it's a hidden gem! The apartment was perfect for us - spacious... air conditioned... great views... comfy bed... access to a communal pool... a personal plunge pool (!)... wifi... it had everything! The apartments are super secure and you need to use your key fob to buzz the access gate open. When we arrived, Karen gave us a warm welcome and a full induction in to all the apartment had to offer. This was much appreciated. This apartment is a great base for people wanting to explore the north of the island. We managed to visit beaches on the east and west with ease and they were all beautiful. Pigeon Island Beach was a personal favourite. If you're wanting a nice secluded place to stay, I can't recommend this place enough. Big thank you to Karen and Jerome!

“A great stay on beautiful St. Lucia”

Very peaceful location. Karen was very helpful giving us information about the area. We booked a fantastic boat trip through her from Rodney Bay Marina. We were on holiday with family who were staying in a different place, There were five in our party and we had a wonderful day out on the boat with Titus and his nephew. It was great as we had the smaller boat just to ourselves. Rum punch beer water and soft drinks were available throughout the day.

Good Size property big kitchen and shower all mod cons. Clean overlooking beach and golf course on balcony miss the place all ready. Hope to return again we stayed for 2 weeks in the 1 bedroom apartment. Highly recommend. Karen and Jerome were very friendly got food in for us before we arrived. Dip pool is great and the pool. 25 minute walk to the beach. Car is needed to explore, taxis can be pricey but driver was recommended by Karen and was reasonable and friendly. So chilled and a beautiful place book it you won't be disappointed.
