Set on Canyamel’s seafront, Universal Hotel Castell Royal is a recently renovated hotel, which is right next to a sandy beach. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a buffet restaurant and a lounge bar with a TV. Each bright, air-conditioned room at Universal Hotel Castell Royal is decorated in green tones. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, a fridge and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Most rooms offer sea views and connecting rooms are available. The buffet restaurant serves themed dinners twice a week and there is also a gala dinner on Fridays. Bars and restaurants can be found in the area surrounding the hotel. “Fantastic stay”
The hotel was IMPECABLE, IMMACULATE everywhere. The level of cleanliness was outstanding and the facilities were well maintained. The catering staff were extremely attentive and always making sure everything was in place for the guests. The variety of food was incredible and very good quality as well.

Reception staff was super helpful and went the extra mile and beyond. Food was great, both quality-wise and selection-wise. Great location, right in front of the sunrise. Ideal for couples and families who want to enjoy a calmer environment than in other busier areas of Mallorca. View from the room was fantastic. Hotel was very clean. Would absolutely recommend 👌

“A crowded all-inclusive with only basic rooms, an unappealing pool, a mediocre beach, and a dull town”
This is a typical all-inclusive hotel geared towards large numbers of tourists. The rooms are functional but offer little more than the basics. Unfortunately, the pool did not look inviting, and while the beach is acceptable, it certainly doesn’t rank among the island’s best. The surrounding town has very little to offer, with only a few cheap restaurants and nothing of real interest. Overall, the experience was so disappointing that we decided to leave earlier than planned, despite having already paid for the rooms, as staying felt like a waste of our vacation time.
