“Smelly and let down”

Look abandon from the entrance. Inside had very strong smell but she said it was turf but very unpleasant and hard to breath if you are a non smoker. I do know turf smell by the way! Not very clean bed covers was creased. Didn’t spend more than 10 mins there as the smell was getting at me and had to leave. Call the lady not to disappoint her and told her but she was like she can’t do anything about it and still charged in full. It’s a shame the location with a sea view but just not well maintained and look after. I don’t recommend if you are looking for a place clean and healthy. If you suffer from any respiratory issue not a good place. They should add on the website they burn turf and smell so strong. I lost money but I couldn’t risk my health and not to gave a good night sleep.

Miriam and her husband were so kind and helpful. Miriam even gave my daughter shampoo and conditioner as she forgot hers ! Very genuine people 😀

I cant have asked for better ! Miriam and Bernard were very friendly. Spotless huge room with very filling Irish breakfast. Little dog was about but not a bother. Do keep in mind it is an hours drive from Galway with breathtaking views along the way. So good I invited them to visit in Australia.

From the moment we arrived, and Miriam opened the door, and two little dogs (Buster and Milo), ran out to greet us. I knew I was "at home". Miriam is a great host, very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing would be a problem to her. Beautiful big bedroom, huge comfortable bed, and big en suite with great shower and lots of really hot water. Big choice of drinks and biscuits. Best nights sleep I've had in a long time. Delicious breakfast, plenty of everything. Highly recommend. Beautiful setting, right on the water. PS. If you're wanting to stay in a place with shops, pubs and restaurants within a short walk, Don't stay here. If you want accommodation in a beautiful rural/coastal setting with peace and tranquility, Sea Breeze is a must. Met Bernard in the morning before we left, and he gave a guided tour of the animals, which I of course loved. Say hello to Buster and Milo, the pigs and hens.

What can I say about the host, Miriam who gave me such a warm welcome and continued for the whole week in the same way. Miriam (and Husband Bernard) were friendly, approachable, helpful and flexible whilst remaining professional and not intruding on your privacy. The room was massive with a superkingsize bed (very comfortable) and a really spacious ensuite. The views from the bedroom, ensuite and dining/sitting room were out of this world. Breakfast was superb, served at a time to suit me and I was asked what I wanted every day. Miriam's porridge was delightful with all the fruit, seeds and other toppings available. Her home baked brown bread was just too delicious. Sea Breeze is in a beautiful part of Connemara - Canower and right on the water's edge. Parking is free and plentiful and the property makes a fabulous base for touring Connemara and places in County Mayo such as Cong where the film, The Quiet Man was filmed. I thoroughly enjoyed my week at Sea Breeze and my tour of Ireland and can highly recommend this property.

Mirim & Bernard were fantastic hosts. They were so friendly and helpful to me, my husband and our small baby. The B&B has beautiful views overlooking the Atlantic. The full Irish breakfast was delicious.
