It was a 15th century Monastery renovated into a stunning hotel in a great location. Our rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, comfy and large. The concierge was so helpful in assisting us with dining suggestions, securing a taxi as well as helping to take our bags to the taxi location. She truly went above and beyond. Breakfast was included and the best I've ever had during my many travels. The dining room was visually stunning. I can't say enough, it was fantastic! I highly recommend Hotel Pironi in the stunning location of Cannobio.

Great Hotel! And great Staff. Everything was perfect.

The staff was very welcoming at our arrival and during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable with no disturbing noice from the outside. We also appreciated the breakfast which has a variety of different choices.

Fabulous location, premises and staff! Right at the centre of the old town and yet quiet and relaxing with a wonderful large sitting room. Just a short distance from lovely places to eat, and the lake front. Lovely historic building, lots of character and comforts! Amazing breakfast- so much to choose from and enjoy!

“Beautiful period property in a great location.”

The location is central in Cannobio and the cobbled streets around are beautiful. The renovation to the property is stunning whilst keeping original features, frescos, fireplace, lovely to walk around. Free parking a couple of streets away which is easy to find. Breakfast is lovely in a beautiful room. Staff were really helpful.

Hostess was very helpful when we arrived with parking our car. Stay was short but everything worked out well.

The location of the hotel is great, so close to the restaurants and shops. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and catered well for gluten free guests. It was wonderful to be able to have a swim too. The parking setup was very handy as we had driven there.

“A memorable stay on the shores of Lake Maggiore.”

The 15th century hotel's location was excellent - right in the centre of Cannobio just a stones throw from the lake shore and all of the restaurants. The room was ideal with a balcony looking out over the lake and the breakfast was superb. The staff were very friendly and very sympathetic when we had to suddenly curtail our stay as a result of our flight being cancelled.

Beautiful old building in a prime position. Really spacious and comfortable room with private balcony plus large shared lounge area with complimentary tea and coffee. Free secure parking a short walk away. Not suitable however for anyone with limited mobility as located on a steep cobbled hill and lots of steps within the property. Really friendly welcoming staff at reception and in the breakfast room.

It is really difficult where to start - everything exceeded all expectations. Starting with the staff, every single one, super friendly, very attentive and always ready to help. The building is an absolute beauty, everything is in excellent conditions, the interior architecture is just beautiful, everything is more than well maintained. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, it was delicious, high quality. Overall, this hotel is a top recommendation and we will surely be back one day. Thanks to all the staff!
