Overview
Ideally located in Cannobio's centre, Hotel Elvezia offers free parking, a large garden and a terrace for guests to relax. The shores of Lake Maggiore are a 1-minute walk away. Rooms at the hotel are all air conditioned and complete with a satellite TV, a balcony and a private bathroom. Some units also offer views of the lake. Boats across the lake leave from the pier, just 250 metres away. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the Swiss town of Locarno and a 50-minute drive from Stresa.

“Excellent stay - would definitely use again if in the area.”
Hotel and room were both superb. Room was large, modern, spotlessly clean and quiet. Large bathroom and hot, powerful shower - which after a day of cycling was much needed! Excellent breakfast as well. A massive thank you to Eddie at reception who came out a long time after reception had closed to help me get into the hotel because of my late arrival and my inability to follow the instructions he sent me on Whatsapp. He was exceptionally kind and cheerful considering the late hour and spoke good English which was a bonus for me.

“Fabulous stay in a traditional hotel with great location.”
Location was fabulous a direct view of the lake, a supermarket near by and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was fresh and there was a good choice available. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The use of the hotel beach towels was a great touch.

“Spot on.”
It was a nice small hotel which is rather new. The room was moderne, clean and a great balcony. The bed was comfortable, bathroom with a big shower was perfect. Breakfast was good and served in the garden. location is only a few hundred meters from the boulevard and lakeside. The beach is at walking distance. Cannobio is a great place to spend a vacation.

A nicely renovated (in 2018 they said) hotel in a boutique hotel style, lovely design details! Very clean rooms and a friendly staff. Excellent location close to everything in Cannobio, yet peaceful.

“Perfect stay for a one week summer vacation”
We stayed one week in this Hotel in Cannobio and everything was perfect. The location is close to the centre and it was quiet. The room was comfortable and very clean and the owners and the room service were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back one day.
