Overview
The hotel is centrally located on the lakeside promenade and has a splendid view of the magnificent surrounding alpine and lake scenery. All rooms are air-conditioned, south facing with private bath or shower, telephone, Satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and minibar. Restaurant Porto Vecchio with the pretty terrace offers an ideal spot to taste a range of cuisine. The town of Cannobio is only a few kilometres from the Swiss border, and is located on the shores of the spectacular western end of Lago Maggiore.

“Perfect for 2/3 break”
Best placed hotel in town, we had room on top floor with views to harbour and to direct lake that are fantastic. Staff great, breakfast very good.

“Lovely hotel in fantastic location with just the loveliest staff - thank you for a great stay”
Arriving in nothing short of a monsoon - the staff were superb in getting us into the hotel with all our luggage and then taking our car to park in their garage. They happily provided us with a lovely meal in our room. Breakfast was excellent - room was lovely with a view right across the lake. Just could not have asked for a nicer stay and will hopefully return

“beautiful old building in perfect location”
the location was fantastic, right on the promenade but just at the end so not too noisy. breakfast an ok selection but not as good as other places we stayed and the staff all a little 'faulty towers', although the terrace out front for breakfast (or aperitivo was really great!). Room lovely and large but very hard pillows! Beautiful old building and history

The breakfast table is always superb. Huge choice of fresh fruit, pastries , meats and cheeses. Also champagne, fresh fruit juice and a basket of vegetables to make healthy smoothy. An ample supply of hot drinks.
