The location on the hill with a view to the sea is exceptional. Therefore the dining/ breakfast terrace offers a beautiful view. The large pool and rest area is serene. The receptionist and hotel personnel were wonderfully friendly.

How warm and welcoming the staff were. From the receptionist to the maintenance staff, they were really helpful and polite. We enjoyed the quiet intimate atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend this for a nice traditional relaxing stay.

The hotel rooms and shared spaces were great, lots of flowers and great views. The staff was very helpful too, and always happy to help. The pool was amazing and with fantastic views.

“Small and friendly”

We loved the view over the bay and although out of town it is a5 minute drive into Cannigione. The hotel is comfortable and our room was spacious . For a 3 star hotel it ticked all the boxes.

What a lovely hotel and a perfect spot to spend a few days. We stayed after a week’s sailing from Cannagione and it was an ideal place to rest and recover. The hotel is set in peaceful grounds, with fabulous views over the islands. There was a nice pool, outdoor gym and billiard table. We ate lunch both days and enjoyed regional pasta dishes. The owners / hotel team all made us feel very welcome. There’s also a shuttle service available to Cannagione and beyond. Would recommend highly and hope to go back.

We had a truly great stay at this amazing family-owned hotel. From the moment we arrived, Giovanni and his parents showed genuine interest in us as a family. As frequent travelers, it's quite rare to find a place that doesn’t rely on rehearsed hospitality but offers the kind that comes naturally. The atmosphere was very welcoming, with fair prices and honest service while accommodating our wishes without ever feeling forced.The accommodation was very spacious, clean, and clearly well looked after. From our room, we had a great view of the Sardinian Sea. The hotel layout was reminiscent of a small Mediterranean village, with different levels, staircases, and little details that gave it a nice local charm.It’s a place we’ll remember for sure, not only for the comfort of the stay but also for the way we were treated: with kindness, attention, and authenticity. Highly recommended! We will absolutely return the next time we visit Sardinia.

Hotel Mikalosso is in a very convenient location, making it easy to explore the area. The pool has a lovely view, and while it’s a bit dated and could use some maintenance (and was a little cold during our stay), it was still nice for a swim — especially for the kids, who enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are quite outdated and had a noticeable moth-like smell, likely from older furniture and bedding. Everything is a bit run-down, and the hotel would truly shine with a full refurbishment. That said, we didn’t expect luxury and still found it okay for our needs. Breakfast was fine but not particularly inspiring — mostly sweet cakes and pastries, with some ham and cheese. Presentation felt a bit unloving, and the eggs were not the best. Still, there was enough to start the day. Parking great. Overall, while the hotel is definitely dated, we enjoyed our stay as a family because it was budget-friendly, the view was nice, and we were out exploring most of the time. With some investment, this place could be a real gem.
