Quick thinking B B manager Katerina had promised to pick me up from local railway station, Canneto sull'Oglio. I had to change at Piadena, one station away. When my train ran late I mised my connection. I was facing a one hour wait . .Not having found me at Canneto sull'Oglio station, host Katerina drove 2.3 km to Piadena station & picked me up. Above & beyond the call of duty.. A scrupulously clean & tidy B & B, a bit Alpine in style. Katerina does not have extensive English but doggedly used Google Translate to cover multiple tooics I waa interested in (my primary language is English). Again, many hosts would simply have left it alone, but Katerina has a brght, quick mind & she answered my queries comprehensively I enjoyed the mocha pot coffee at breakfast.
