Great host, very helpful and accommodating. Showed us around the apartment and complex which was a big help. Left a nice welcome gift and couldn't do more to make us feel welcome.

“A home overlooking the sea within walking distance of Cannes”

Excellent location with access to a public beach and a few minutes walk into Cannes. The swimming pool was a good size and not over crowded any time we were there in early September. The apartment was very comfortable.

1. Excellent communication with the host, who speaks English and French and has exactly the attitude I think everyone wants from a host: respect, helpfulness, efficiency, elegance. 2. All the utilities to feel exactly "at home"; nothing was lacking. 3. Discretion and quiet; I didn't hear anyone talking loudly, listening to loud music or shouting, even though the pool was full of children; this means that you also need to be discreet and quiet. 4. Cleanliness; I found the appartement clean enough and I kept it clean easily; the host also asks for certain rules in this respect, and I think she is doing the right thing. 5. Good sound insulation, with two rows of doors to the street; if you make sure you close them well and close the bathroom doors as well, you can sleep without problems. 6. Functional air-conditioning; I used it very little, because it was enough to leave the living room door open and pull the shutter in the bedroom in the afternoon, when the sun was "beating" there. 7. Superb sea view, plus a terrace big enough to eat while enjoying the peace, the green of the garden and the changing colors of the sea. 8. A beautiful, cool garden with chairs and tables for warm midday hours and romantic evenings. 9. Only 3-5 minutes' walk to a sandy beach and sea perfect for water gymnastics, swimming and jumping. 10. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the Palais des Festivals area. 11. Buses and trains at your convenience to visit what you want: beautiful villages with fewer tourists and all sorts of surprises (for example, an international museum of perfume plants in Grasse, and the Fernard Leger National Museum in Biot; or eat 'home-cooked' food in a small restaurant, Au Vieux Four in Gourdon, where the owner herself serves you), Antibes (with a Picasso museum), Nice (with many museums: Chagall, Matisse, contemporary art, naive art. ...), Monaco... Of course, if you go by car or rent one, you can have more freedom of movement.

The apartment was in a fantastic location, and was exactly as described. A brilliant base for our holiday in Cannes - we loved how close the apartment was to the beach, pool and everything Cannes has to offer. Marianne was a fantastic host.

Location is fantastic, with great amenities of pool and gardens right on the beach front. Apartment is spacious and had all the items which are needed for a comfortable beach stay, comfortable beds, air con and well equipped kitchen. Wonderful host.
