The location is fantastic you are a five minute walk to the harbour where the restaurants and Casino. Also where the film festival is located. Rooms are large with everything you need. We did not have to pay for the kitchenette as stated in the small print. The beds are very comfortable with wonderful pillows. There is a lovely balcony you can sit on for a morning coffee. The continental breakfast is perfect with scrambled eggs bacon and small sausages. A lovely selection of cooked meats cheese and danish pastries. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it always had people in there with no time limits. We checked in at 1500 two hours earlier than stated in the small print. There is a baggage room so you can leave your cases to explore.

I asked the staff to check the ventilation of my room when I was gone. Somebody (from the staff?) visited my room and pooped on the toilet and did not flush it. The manager of the hotel did not believed this when I asked some kinda compensation.

I WILL NOT GO BACK IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN WITH THE INSOLENT RECEPTIONIST. The receptionist on the morning at 11h05 in the morning on January 3 2026 was super rude, I was just asking for cake candle 🕯 as I have friend who have birthday on the day. I agree with her that no candle allowed as it will trigger the fire alarm system and the police will come and my guarantee money will forfeited. I thought she was just nice person even she talks a lot a bit exaggerated but I don't have problem with it. The receptionist on the evening of 2nd January was so nice, I ask him if the water in the faucet in potable and he said yes as I have only 1 bottle and we are 3 in the room so he gave us more bottles of water. So I relay with my Clients that if they need water they can go to reception, as we are all tired, they didn't go down but they ask in the morning before leaving. The lady said she's not giving it, they need to pay it as there are cameras every where. She said she gave to my colleague which is not at all, my colleague complains that the bottle is open the one in the room she said yes she will give but no she didn't that's why I ask them to go back to reception before leaving at the hotel. But she insisted NO more water, if you want, it is 1 euro. I don't mine paying the amount but I was insisting they didn't go down the night before to have their water, and I want my Clients to be treated well at the hotel so they can have good impressions as I love the hotel and all the stuff before was so nice a helpful. And everytime I have trip to cannes with Clients always choose this hotel. And the worst thing is, I told her everytime I'm in cannes I choose this hotel as the service was good, and she told me back that yes she remembered me, that I was there and cause the fire alarms to the whole hotel, and the police came because of me.
