Each and everything was good.. everything was clean and tidy..

Can’t control the heater and staff is on about the email they sent me a day prior to check in As I am very busy driving most of the day I obviously missed the email they sent. Also the hotel sent way too many messages and making the check in very stressful. Don’t like the approach from the staff and his hand writing is too hard to read.

Nice and Cozy, Clean and everything was there that I needed. Perfect.

No daily housekeeping, no human contact other than 1 person at reception whose not even in the same building, v have to get exchange towels, sheets ourselves from reception which is next door building and to TOP IT ALL - pay the same price in which we can get room service, daily housekeeping. Poor

The arrangement and the cleanness

We were staying at Basecamp Resort from December 31 to January 1, and we are writing regarding the hot tub closure during our stay. We understand that hot tubs may occasionally be closed due to maintenance, Alberta Health Services regulations, or weather conditions. However, we would like to clarify the specific circumstances of our stay, as our situation went beyond a standard or routine closure. The hot tub was the main reason we chose this unit and paid a higher price compared to other available options. We booked well in advance, on December 11. Unfortunately, we were only informed of the closure two hours before check-in, while already driving from Edmonton on New Year’s Eve — a four-hour drive — which left us with no realistic opportunity to change or cancel our plans. Additionally, upon arrival, we were initially told by staff that the hot tub was operational and ready to use. Later, we were contacted again and informed that it would not be available. We had hoped it might at least be functional the following morning, but were told it would not be. This conflicting information further affected our experience and expectations. Late December weather in Canmore is predictably below freezing, and ice formation is a known and foreseeable risk during this season. Had we been informed in advance that the hot tub might be unavailable due to these conditions, we would not have booked this unit.
